I installed the PPE Equal Length Headers with an Apexi Exhaust and as many people have said, "the PPE EL Headers are where this motor comes to life and truly make the biggest difference". I fully agree. I ordered the PPE Equal Length Headers and the Apexi Exhaust at the same time within a couple of months of buying my 2018 RCF. Everything arrived in early summer but I held off installing the header's as I was doing the install myself and I knew working on it part time, the car would be down for a few weeks and I didn't want to lose any part of the very short summer here in Minnesota so I just installed the cat back Apexi Exhaust. It looks great and sounded good and I drove it all summer. Come January of this year, I took the car apart and installed the header's in my garage. Not an easy job, though quite satisfying and "ohhhhh so worth it !!!" The header's made all the difference. It's incredible. The motor revs quicker and makes more power for sure. I haven't dyno'd mine but it breaks loose so easy now compared to stock and is quicker. Unfortunately the header's aren't cheap, but in my opinion, they're worth it, though the car will no longer be quiet if you have any kind of aftermarket exhaust. I wake up the neighbors, cause car alarms to go off and dogs to bark in both houses next to me everytime I start my car inside my garage (LOL).

100% agree with you on this one. Plenty of people dislike the RC F for what it isn't (a M4). But I LOVE it for what it is. It looks great, it sounds ridiculous, it's very fast, and it has active aero which I am an absolute sucker for. A blue RC F with the multi-spoke 20 spoke wheels is an absolute dream car for me. And the slight hesitation between upshifts and bark during down shifts are auditory perfection 👌🏽🤌🏽
It’s not fast tho. Compared to an RC350 or most other dailies, it’s pretty fast. My W212 E550 is faster stock.
It’s a solid, vintage style muscle car that you can daily no worries. It’s not that fast, heavy, and dated. The infotainment is archaic at best.
I still kinda want one but used LC500 would do all the same things but better.
I like this more than the m4. At the end of the day speed isn’t everything. At least for me it isnt

The audio quality is ironically not that great tbh. I agree that this one of if not the best sounding V8s on the market, it's just not well represented with hardware picking it up.

Everyone seems to view Lexus as a boring car company, but they only see the surface. Cars like the ISF, RCF, LC500 and IS500 are all cars that a have this incredible 5.0 V8 and all the luxury/reliability that most any car enthusiast would appreciate as a daily driver. Not to mention the amazing soundtrack to go with it

I’m running 285s on my 13 ISF and I can’t hook up. I have Hayward and Scott exhaust intake tube like yours.
Sounds great. Good review. I have had mine since 2017. Mine is the same color (looks like that one has a wrap), but with TVD/CF package. Mine has the Invidia exhaust that does not sound nearly as loud and explosive, but I have quite a few bolt ons including crank pulley, ECU tune, exhaust and more aggressive tires. The Mustang dark horse vs RCF race was cool, but obviously it was a 6 speed manual and it takes a lot of serious skills in a 6 speed manual to match or beat a car with fast automatic and a similar power to weight ratio. My neighbors have a white one of those Lexus, it’s factory but has a pretty deep cold start. I wanted to race it in my 5.0 22 GT but I have a Whipple on mine now and it wouldn’t be competitive now

Just because you just learned about the rcf doesn’t mean everyone else slept in it too. No one buys it because it gets next to zero aftermarket support. Not to mention it’s an understeering nightmare like and Audi. It doesn’t like to turn so no driver wants it either. They sound amazing, truly one of the best sounding v8’s ever to exist but that’s not enough for many to get one.
Definitely like the RUclips videos but I’d look into better audio gear and image stabilization

The new RCF is the best car in this budget. Maybe some of the interior features are a bit dated, but other cars can only dream of such reliability.
