Suspect Parameter Number (SPN) 2631 according to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) says its a engine charge air cooler (CAC) outlet pressure. I’d pressure check the system next if your code returns, as it very well may be a pressure leak in the intake system.
Hello Dave, where did you get this part from? I called freighter and they see the part number in their system but don’t want to sell me it. They are telling me to buy the whole turbo assembly.

Same spn can have different fmi. Js. Not saying freightliner did their job 100% . Js they traveled the dd diagnostics and the steps given said replece the filter. Is they would have looked further by saying no to.those steps followed it would have taken them to that part. Not a thorough diagnosis.

Yes it did help,,Freightliner dealers are big time ripp off,,,I have never had a dearship to work on my truck where they didn't keep it a week and a half ,,SNOOP'S in Indianapolis, In,,are the worst,,they damaged my truck,,while in the shop,,and tried telling me it was like that,,I knew it wasn't,,but I couldn't afford a lawyer
such a pointless gadget. all it needs is a boost reference line off the turbo directly to the the wastegate actuator. Same system used for almost the entire history of turbochargers. Ill never understand this reinvent the wheel type of thinking when it comes to things that just, simply work.
