I think you can still romance her if you do the trick to knock her out and save the grove. Just you don't get a sex scene with her. It involves getting her into a temporary hostile state how I did that was attacked the floating eye while it was in front of her then used non-lethal attacks to ko her temporarily. Deal with her as the first of the leaders. Then you have to kill the other 2 leaders without long resting. She will wake up if you do that before you finish the quest to eliminate the goblin leaders. If you wait until you have reported that you have killed them and then celebrate at your camp the quest will finish with her remaining alive. She should appear at moonrise same as if you chose to help her. I think you can get enough approval from her in act 2 to start the romance. Unlike with freeing Shadowheart from the pod in the prologue you don't get any approval from springing her from moonrise's prison. Something the devs should fix.
