      Don't give up, he take time, mine wased very stressful and scary about anything. Bird are really unique creature and they are very smart and they cans sense what we feel. If you are scare of your bird not confident show strees or esitation they will in some case show you a lack of trust. He take me fourth month to gain the fully trust of my bugie and my bird really like interacting with me. The key is taking good care of your bird.

    I make none of these mistakes, I've had two of my four birds for a year and 2 months. They sing/talk to me and all that, but as soon as a hand comes into sight, they freak out. It's not aggression, just pure fear. This is due to the shop owners treating them terribly. Any tips?

      You don't have to separate them long term, it only needs to be during taming sessions so they won't distract each other.
      If you separate them it will indeed make them lonely and depressed.

    How do I gain my budgie's trust? I've had mine for a little over 2 & a half months. Interact with her daily, I sit where she can see me and I talk to her. She has several toys, but she's not interested in any of them. I've tried offering her spray millet and/or a variety of fresh fruits & veggies, but like her toys, she's not interested in them. She chirps & chirps like normal.

    • @Bird-Nuggets
      @Bird-Nuggets  Год назад

      It may even take months for a budgie to get used to its surroundings, and even after she reaches a milestone, one simple mistake can get her back to having trust issues.
      It's normal that a budgie will take a long time until it's actually in toys, and some budgies don't even care for toys and won't ever mess with them, it could be her personality.
      Just be patient, spoil her with treats, and wait for it to happen.

    can you build trust with 2 in one cage/

    • @SportingWild
      @SportingWild Год назад +1

      It’s better to be each bird alone for a good process of training and to build confidence between you and them. Why? Because as long as you want to train both of them, one of them will be afraid which leads to the escape of the other bird immediately. Close the windows and doors so they wouldn’t escape. As always say in my channel @parrotino, it’s better to train them at a young age
