Loved hearing about your favorites! There are several titles I'm especially intrigued by. The White Mare sounds so good! Is the atmosphere similar to Daughter of the Forest?

I have had the White Mare on my shelf for quite a few years now, I really need to get to it!! I bought it when I saw it recommended for fans of Juliet Marrillier. Which I am a huge fan. I think I'll put it on my priority list!

I hope you love it! I read it because I have seen those same recommendations and I second the rec! I think Marillier fans would like The White Mare

Oh I love that you made a special category for the rereads, those are always some of my favourite reading experiences of the year as well and deserve some love!! ❤
With the way you talk about Felix Ever After, I think you might really enjoy Ander & Santi Were Here by Jonny Garza Villa. That was my surprise YA contemporary romance that ended up on my faves list last year, haha.
And consider me sold on Unraveller, it sounds right up my alley!
I had quite a few faves last year, but the ones that I would actually recommend for you are The Wickwire Watch by Jacquelyn Hagen, Letters to Half Moon Street by Sarah Wallace, The Necessity of Rain by Sarah Chorn, Spark of the Divine by Louise Holland, and A Quiet Vengeance by Tim Hardie! 🤩
Here's to finding many more new faves in the new year 🥰

I don't think it is as atmospheric as DotF, it is less focused on forest atmosphere. And it is less magical more historical. But I do think fans of DotF would like The White Mare

I absolutely loved the Monk & Robot duology. Honestly, the first book had me completely sobbing multiple times, just because of how closely it resembled my own thoughts and wishes for this world.

I have been so bad about reading the Immortals quartet. I keep putting so much space between the books or not finishing them. I started Emperor Mage last year and only got halfway through before putting it down. I'll need to finish that series this year.
I've read Garden Spells so many times. It's just a comfort read for me.
Unraveller has a beautiful cover! I want to read more by Frances Hardinge.

As much as I love the Immortals quartet, it has a less focused plot which I think makes it easier to put it down and accidently get away from it.
I want to get to more Frances Hardinge too!

The White Mare is always suggested for Juliet Marillier fans and since you loved it maybe this is silly to ask, but do you feel like it’s comparable?

That is why I read it as well and of the things I have seen recomended for fans of Marillier, it is one of the closest things I have found. I think the writing is not as atmospheric or forest-focused and it is more historical fiction than fantasy so it's a little less magical. But I would recomend it for fans of Marillier
