I love seeing Ann Wilson singing with David. She is the greatest female hard rock singer I've ever heard live by a mile, and I've seen her band Heart in the last ten years which is definitely their twilight. I wish she had gotten more opportunity to ad lib but this song may not lend itself to ad libs. David is one of the best singers currently active and he and Ann are a perfect combination. He's said for years Ann is his favorite female rock singer but I never expected to see them collaborate. If you haven't you all should react to Ann Wilson and Heart's song "Barracuda".
Love Dave Draiman's voice, love Disturbed, and Ann Wilson is widely viewed as the GOAT of female hard rock singers. This album, Divisive, came out in November of 2022, this is the fourth single from it and it was just #1 on the Active Rock Singles chart. I'm kind of shocked that anyone wouldn't know who Heart is -- they are a hall of fame band and have probably 30 hits between the late 70s and late 90s. I even heard Heart song with James Hetfield dueting with Ann Wilson a few years ago. Barracuda, Crazy on You, Alone, Magic Man are all classics, but they're old and I'm over 40 so maybe that's why I know who they are.
This song was released on Disturbed's Divisive album two years ago. I'm surprised it took this long for a video to be released. They definitely took their time putting it out as a single. I agree about Anne Wilson she is an incredible singer. I like their songs "Black on Black" and "Mistral Wind", both bangers, literally.
