It’s those little jobs that can sometimes feel like the most rewarding! It might not take long but if you hadn’t done them then progress in other areas that needed those tools would have ground to a stop! Like most of Europe you too have had plenty of rain. We are all so desperate for some sunshine and splash of spring to come! ❤

Youve bought a wonderful old house brimming with character. Love watching how you are restoring it back.

That is the most obstinate axe handle that I've ever seen!

That vise is a beautiful thing, I love how you can see just how much use it's had, and it's still being used. Stunning.👍

💕Little jobs sometimes take the longest💕Looks like you could use some guttering with water butts underneath then you could use said water for your gardening💕

thanks for showing your little and big projects! i would love to have such a wonderful smultronställe :)
Just a little advice for your japanese saw, dont force it while pushing, they are just cutting while pulling.
i know its strange when you are used to work with european saws. But trust me, if you get used to it, you will never go back :D

Thank you! I find it a bit tricky sometimes so I'll try that.

I’m wondering what the piece of wood on back side of house is hiding, I’d it an opening for a window? It may let in light on that side a bit

Hi Marcus, when you were replacing the axe handle, I noticed you were tapping the bottom of the new handle. I'm curious; what was the purpose of doing that?

In a previous video you can see that the piece below the window is damaged from damp. You can see it in this video too (all soft and crumbly)

I don’t understand why you tore up that axe that probably would’ve never torn up?
