"The Wren" played on the Welsh crwth and cigar-box guitar by Ryan Koons and Ken Koons of the traditional Celtic and Nordic music ensemble Wherligig. wherligig.com
The Crwth is quite a haunting instrument. I have heard it performed in several occasions and its extremely atmospheric evoking ancient times and histories.
Try tuning the Crwth to a Major tuning rather than Minor, then play American Bluegrass ( which is derived from Scottish/Irish folk music. I think a Major tuning will stop the constantly depressing melody inherent to the minor tuning. Should be a fun experiment !
I love this song. I can't find it anywhere. Great job guys

Beautiful music. Thank you. I've subscribed and am looking forward to hearing more of your music.
Do you have a Patreon or just an album of this music? I need more of this in my life and I want to support you.
How do I contact Ken Koons? Google was no help.
As an Englishman it pains me to admit this but... The Welsh did it better
