I’m having this issue with my 2019 but they don’t come with the short driveline that meets at that carrier bearing anymore it’s one whole driveline that meets in the middle with no bearing carrier to support it can but it does have the holes where is should go can I add this to help it stop rattling
If either clutch is hanging up it wont want to shift into gear unless the engine is shut off. Check the primary clutch to make sure it's open all the way. Dirt or if you blew a belt will get into the center one way bearing of the primary and cause you a problem.
Hi, can you help me? changing the HEAVY-DUTY CARRIER BEARING to my x3, when I took out the driveshaft I forgot to make a position mark and now I don't remember how it goes, do you have a way to help me with this? or what consequence can it bring me thanks.
@@SuperATVMedia Thanks for the reply, i had my X3 greased by a good mechanic friend of mine just for preventive measure really but now when i'm driving on bumpy trail i can hear my driveshaft hitting any suggestions on what could of happen, only have 1800 miles on it, was wondering how important it was to line up the green lines because im not sure if he did that
If the straight fitting is difficult for you to use, you can add our grease line to make maintenance much easier! Grease Line for SuperATV Carrier Bearings: www.superatv.com/remote-grease-line-for-superatv-carrier-bearings-1 If you are looking to swap out fittings to a 90° style fitting, you will need to be sure it is M6x1.0 threaded.
@@SuperATVMedia just a suggestion to put a 90 on her that’s all no hate all love ❤️ spending an extra 22$ ain’t a big deal but if it already comes with a 90 it would be nice 😊

@@anthonyadair76 yea you are right. i'm a dummy and didn't see there was a gen 2 set of instructions. what a serious PITA. i dislike my commander very much. doesn't even have 600 miles on it yet and i've had to replace the carrier bearing and the water pump all out of warranty of course. speaks to the quality going down and the price going up

If you received a kit that says not to use the collar, then you will not need to use it. Previous versions required the collar, but newer versions do not.

Why is it called a "prop shaft".( Isn't a prop shaft on boats).. Google says it's a prop shaft but I was tought to call it a drive shaft. But whatever..
Hi, I dont‘t have those green lines on my maverick x3 for matching the driveshaft parts. Is there any other possibility to match them? I took it off without marking the initial position

When u say put the locking collar bevel facing the prop shaft is that the front or the back of the machine?
That is the rear.
@SuperATV - My 2021 CanAm Maverick is having trouble shifting between Park/Drive/Reverse - Is this the reason you changed your carrier bearing?
No. Check your clutches.

Typically, you can mount the carrier, but leave it loose and spin the shaft so it settles into place.
what was the cam am doing to cause you to have to do this? thanks
It makes a lot of vibration noises.

@@erwmlw the green lines are marking it for balance purposes. If they’re not lined up, you’re likely to have problems.
My superatv bearing didn’t came with with the collar on the back with the 2 set screws. Just a regular bearing with the grease grove in it.
What's a fair time to be charge labor on changing out carrier bearing on the X3 (just labor)
2-3 hours depending on mechanical level.
Thank you somebody is trying to charge me five hours
how you change the carrier Bearing on 2019 maverick trail sport 4 doors ?
When will these be back in stock?
Does this fit the 2020 xds turbo rr?
It sure does!
Come on super atv why would you not provide the cap with a 90 degree fitting. Looks like a great product when mine comes definitely putting a 90 on 😅
