JD, we already miss you and your, and your groups’, great, wonderful years with us. The real Greats for me: Earl Scruggs, JD Crowe, Don Reno, and Sonny Osborne. There are many more greats but I personally believe those four were the greatest. Rest in Heaven JD.
Missing JD and all the boys of New South...even Chappie! We've lost too many from the BG. Richard - stay out of any tree > 35'' wouldya> LOL - always a treat to see and hear JD and his bands.
@mikebastiat There is no doubt he did, he was very calculating. Being that way probably earned him an extra couple million over the life of his career!!!

Amen! He was a real banjo player too. I watch a lot of the videos when he was with Ricky Wasson and Southern Blend.
