These Beegie Adair transcriptions are solid gold when it comes to jazz harmony. Adiar was the J. S. Bach of tasteful chord substitution and voice leading.
I don’t play piano but this came up on my recommended list because I watched a dog listening to jazz piano.. anyway I digress…. I just wanted to say this is beautiful ❤
What I love is that you always seem to keep things in their original time signatures and don't try to notate peoples rubato literally, cause most jazzers are just improvising to a lead sheet anyway

Indeed, I try to keep the same time signature as much as possible, provided that the reading is not too difficult and that the rhythm remain representative of the recording
@ I think with some RUclips transcribers it stems from not being familiar with the actual melody of the piece they're transcribing. I've seen some weird notations of standards with time signatures changes everywhere (performers rubato) and the melody itself going across the barline Sometimes when I bring this up they argue that all the time signatures changes are easier to read but eh I disagree
Beegie will be the absolutely unsurmountable unsurpassable Queen of the noble art of "cocktail piano", every recording of the same piece is different. I move that she's on a par with Chopin's art of the nocturne. I guess Chopin and Beegie would have been good pals.
So amazing and beautiful, wonderful transcription!
