Same!!! I went to a CATHOLIC university that had no dress code. When it's hot, girls would be wearing shorts or crop tops, and boys would be wearing jerseys, and that wasn't an issue. The priests and professors didn't mind, and in fact, they treated EVERYONE with the same amount of respect. I just don't get why other schools have to impose a strict dress code. ***To add to that, my school was also not strict with students protesting, expressing their political views, etc. We pretty much had a lot of freedom. This much freedom didn't hinder us from doing well in school. In fact, we're one of the highest ranked schools in the country. No need to be overly strict to encourage students to do well. :) I hope other schools adopt the same culture. I hope they stop hindering students from doing things that won't even get in the way of their studies.
