Ricky's raucous laughter is the only thing that prevents these podcasts from being the best lullabies for adults

Karl's film idea.....Black Mirror Season 4 Episode 6. What a prophet
even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Considering ALL the series ever and ALL their episodes, there's no idea that's completely original. People dó come up with similar ideas, without being prompted by others.
He also predicted that in 2020 people will be choking on germs n that. Then covid happened

Yet another one for the collection - you're a legend Man Moth! Do you know whether the very first few shows of Series 1 are available anywhere? The earliest one I can find is the one you've uploaded, which has references to previous weeks, so there are obviously others that came before 10th Nov 01. I'd love to find the real episode 1, if it's out there somewhere....

This seems to be the original. Later, it was edited down to make the animated podcast. Then there was the bit about KP2. So, it kinda feels like there's more conversations about the first film idea than you'd think.

Karl's not wrong, oddly I learned this from nightmare on elm street but, after your heart stops beating which is when you're clinically considered dead, your brain stays functional for exactly seven minutes afterwards, past that point, your brain shuts down and you are unable to be resuscitated.

alex walters - I'm here cos I'm subscribed. He makes it and breaks it. I wish i could sleep to these convos seriously because I love the frivolity, but every time that psychopath laughs it wakes me up. I swear to god it has to take a toll on a human like Karl who's spent close to 7 years in a room with him every Saturday for 2 hours. I think it's that genius thing - David Brent was a fucking masterpiece, but any genius has that autistic side, all you have to do is watch his interactions with robin ince to know Gervais is a desperately lonely unbalanced individual, who's funny, but seriously creepy on numerous levels.

Ricky getting annoyed at Karl saying people use noise to sleep has always bothered me. In fact, I don’t know how Ricky lives in London and doesn’t know about white noise machines. I got my first machine 20 years ago after I worked in a law firm with an integrated white noise system. It was there so that any sensitive conversations wouldn’t leak out into unintended ears. I had a neighbor five houses away with a barking dog so I discovered the Sound+Sleep company. I’ve got two in my room and one travel one - the travel unit is literally a miracle. Highly recommend white noise machines to everyone, but especially folks in busy noisy areas and people with tinnitus.
