i don't understand how people can call frank a sell out, if he stayed in gallows he would of just sold himself out, doing something he didn't enjoy for money. if you watch any of his interviews you can clearly see how much happier he is making music in pure love. i preffered frank in the gallows, but at the end of the day why should he live he's life in misery to to make people happy with he's music when people still enjoy pure love, I'm just glad he's making music still

I find it great. If writing and singing about unpleasant emotions didn't make good to him, envolving himself in positive music is the best he could do. Still sounds stupendous.

+Someone from the things I have seen about frank, he seems to only put out music when he has something to say. And that's fair enough. He's frank fucking carter so he'll always be able to release it somehow. I reckon as the years go by he'll end up with the weirdest sounding musical library you've ever heard.

The thing about Frank is…. You know he just rolled out of bed one day and could sing like that. Some people are just naturals. And as a singer, I can just somehow tell he has pure, natural talent.

been a hard core Gallows fan for years, just heard this on Kerrang and for the first few seconds i was like "Frank! What have you done! This is why you left Gallows!!!" BUT, i let the song play... I was not disappointed. Its different, but a good different. I like it a lot :) Good job Frank, I'll miss you singing songs about hate and misery but if it works for you, then good for you man!
Wow. When I heard he went a new direction after leaving Gallows he sure did!! I loved Gallows when he was the vocalist (the new guy is good but just doesn't do it for me) but this is awesome in its own way...

He's gone back to singing about hate with the Rattlesnakes, but it's okay because everything he gets involved in is great. :) I guess Primary Explosive is an encouraging and positive song in its own way though.
people should stop letting the fact that Frank used to be in Gallows blind them and not see that this, in fact, is wonderful music. Honestly, i love Gallows and from what i've heard, i'll be liking Pure Love as much. Peace.

I'm loving franks new stuff, I think he made the right choice in taking a new direction. Gallows are awesome but you can't do something that you don't enjoy and do it well forever, Pure love are making music that they enjoy and that's why you should support them

Saw Pure Love last night- they were immense! Frank and Jim got right into the centre of the crowd and were sat on people's shoulders for half the gig XD

Like you said, he didn't sell out, he's enjoying music in a different way and sounds as energetic as if the frontman of Gallows we all loved. That's the important thing about a musician, no the music he performs, but how he performs music

They put on a great show at Groezrock, Frankie turned from punching and spitting at people to a nice guy who was having a race on a air bed over the crowd. Probably the best show I have seen this weekend

Those lyrics express completely how he was feeling when he left Gallows. He emptied his heart into that band and the two albums released with them, which were actually the two most important punk albums to come out of Britain in 20 years. A band cant ask for a vocalist to do more or better than that.

Went to the gig at Scala last night. Was fucking great, Frank was quality as were Sharks supporting Pure Love. Well recommend that you catch them live while they're still doing smallish gigs!
Lifting my spirits this morning
I really really like this. The first lyric to the song really gets the point across. Frank is doing what he wants, as apposed to being in a band when he isn't comfortable with the direction their music is taking. Say what you like about him, Gallows just aren't the same. Also, this reminds me a fair bit like the darkness.
There's a time when you change, we are humans our life is made by stages and sometimes we only see the bad part . I think frank is a great artist ,so therefore his feelings are exposed in every project that he does. He writes everything he feels and nails it .

I love Gallows and this was a big surprise coming from Frank Carter, when he first started singing i was so startled at what is voice actually sounded like...And its good too. Just cant let what you remember from Gallows get in the way
