I’m always wary of Beatles remixes, but I listened to the entire albums track by track while closely comparing it to the 2009 remasters and I have to say it is absolutely amazing throughout. One thing that really pops out in the remix is the doowop style backing vocals on many of the tracks that were, for some reason, buried in the background on the previous mixes.
I've heard that with the release of the recent White Album remix that everything was so crisp and clear that Charles Manson was quoted as saying "Hmmm. What do ya know? I guess they weren't telling me to kill people after all."
I wish I had a time machine and I could go back to the time when the Beatles were first out and then I could have told John not to go out that day or even shoving him out of the way if he didn’t listen and read my warnings,God Bless the Beatles and God Bless Paul and God Bless to his good health 💞💞✝️🙏🏻💞✝️
Great posting and updates-thanks!!
Thanks for watching!

I can’t believe how good the 50th sounds. Everything including the outtakes sound crystal clear.
I'm getting whiplash from hearing that some love it and some hate it! I think it's great overall, but the audio is a bit crisp maybe (too loud, maybe too treble-y?), but that's a nit-pick. We're talking like A versus A+ - definitely a taste issue versus technical mistakes.
Ive been a huge Beatles fan for most of my life 40 years or so, but i have never seen the need for these remixes since the original is perfection as it is, the original mixes for me is so iconic that i dont even really want to hear the new mixes, i listened to the Sgt. Pepper remixes once, but directly went back to the original since it sounds the way i remember and want it to sound.
Stefan Sjöberg Hi Stefan, I respect your comment on this. I haven’t been able to listen to the new mixes but if one understands the process they went through to clean the tape hiss and splicing, the new mixes are closer to the actual sound in the studio on the day they were recorded, not to mention the layering of tracks created by bouncing back then. That said, altering levels as well, does “update” the sound of the band and makes this a different work of art.
I didn't care much for the Pepper remix. The White Album remix is amazing though.
@@p0llenp0ny I dont think i have even heard that one, its not important to me if i ever do either.
@@JuannyBoy2023 I do understand the process very well since im a musician and self made sound engineer that has at least recorded, mixed and mastered my own bands CD´s. As you yourself put it "Makes this a different work of art", that is the big issue i have with it. The huge limitations in technology compared to even most homestudios today is a big part of why it sounds the way it does, its a document of its time and remixing it is a bit like you would do touch ups on the Mona Lisa (i dont mean restoration). There are certainly many albums even from this day that could do with both remixes and remasterings since they sound horrible, but the original mixes of Sgt Pepper etc from The Beatles are so good that they are the most important reference that i personally use as a goal for achieving a good sounding album.
@@p0llenp0ny The Pepper remix was fantastic. The White Album remix was all over the place. And the Abbey Road remix is shit.
the country doc on PBS said that Ringo liked Gene Autry and sang Act Naturally by Buck Owens and it was placed on the B side of Yesterday. John liked Hank Williams Sr. and George liked Chet Atkins smooth guitar playing and Jimmy Rogers, and Paul liked Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys which was Texas swing. some said that "their sister was playing Beatles in one room and their parents were playing the Carter family in the other." you know I heard Paul played Blue Moon of Kentucky back in the 90s both with the other Beatles in Elvis style but on MTV unplugged Paul played it both fast like Elvis and slow to start it like Bluegrass legend Bill Monroe.
Yep. And don't miss Paul, George, and Ringo playing "Blue Moon of Kentucky" on the Anthology DVD. :)
Cool
I love these boxed sets coming out. My only regret is them not releasing Please Please Me, With The Beatles, A Hard Day’s Night, Help, Rubber Soul and Revolver as deluxe packages too. I would’ve loved to have heard the Aaahhs in Twist And Shout more crisp, or Lennon’ rhythm guitar packing more punch in It Won’t Be Long. Alas one can only dream....
They still might..
"The glorious 55th anniversary box set" :)
This iconic 👦👮👷👨Abbey Road cebra crossing should be be put on a museum🎼🎺🎶🎸🎵🎹
The whole road?! Why not? :)

ELO released a new song and releaseing the new album on Nov 1
Yeah! Looking forward to it.
I enjoy your videos. You might be interested in some BBC radio 2 specials, about them as a group and solo artists, that are available on the free BBC IPlayer app, for varying lengths of time. Most are available for about 3 weeks, except for "in the Beginning"-9 days, and "I Hope We Passed the Audition"-17 days. Just enter the search term The Beatles to access these shows, that each run just under an hour. Also, tomorrow, October 5, BBC World Service will air a show on Abbey Road's anniversary, which you can find online, if it's not available on the app. .
Great tip! Thank you so much!
You're very welcome. Did you catch Patrick Stewart talking about driving Paul's Aston Martin, back in the day, at the Hollywood Abbey Road Anniversary celebration? (Bideo is on RUclips) a more detailed account can be found on the William Shatner hosted (maybe also produced) Star Trek special "The Captains," which I caught on BBC America, and may be currently available on a streaming service.
I did! I was able to watch it live. BTW - I gave you a shoutout in the newest news video. Thanks again!
3:08..."superfluous".....is the word I think you meant....not "superlative"...... their meanings are almost contradictory
No, I meant that word, in the sense that there were so many 'superlative' questions like, "What was your favorite track?" "What's your best memory from working with X?" Maybe it's how we use it regionally. But I'll concede I could have been clearer. :)
Superlative* as in highest quality
Superfluous* as is unnecessary?
There are no regional differences in how these words are used.
We all make mistakes...
Which word did you mean? :)
Great reporting, otherwise.
The OBViOUS Channel Would you guys just focus on the Beatles instead of me? 😂
I didn’t mean superfluous. The content may indeed be that, but that wasn’t my point. I felt like a lot of the questions were about his opinion on favorite/best/most. Those kind of extreme, “just pick one” questions.
Around here (regionally, not sure if it’s a widespread thing?), there is a high school yearbook feature called “Senior Superlatives” where the kids vote on most talented, most likely to succeed, best dressed, etc. I think that’s where the idea for that word got stuck in my head. That was the point I want to make - the questions were vapid. Again, I could have been clearer in drawing the parallel to that. 🙃

haha...
Cheers, you clarified it.
All is good!

No one has released a remix of Revolver or Rubber Soul right?
Nope. Maybe for the 55th anniversary. 🤦♂️
@@FabFourArchivist I sure hope they release them. Maybe even the early Beatles albums too. Thanks for the news as always keep it up!
Sure! Thanks for watching.
I’m thinking on this again, and there should be a * next to my response. Revolver hasn’t been remixed, but technically RS has. George Martin tackled it and the Help! LP for the 1987 CD releases. Too long of a story for a comment here, but essentially it needs another remix. (The 2009 remasters used the ‘87 mixes for whatever reason... in deference to G. Martin?)
@@FabFourArchivist The 2009 Mono box set includes the original stereo mixes of RS and H! in addition to the Mono mixes. I always figured they chose the 1987 mixes for the stereo box as they are sort of the "official" CD mixes (because of Martin's involvement), and put the 1965 mixes in with the Mono box as it was more of a direhard completionist product.
Please watch "The Analogues" band on RUclips!
Aaaa
third
Poo on
The Beatles are history. Why keep nagging about remixing existing audio tapes? Respect for musicians who dare to play the music of The Beatles LIVE ON STAGE, albums like Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road. THE BEATLES HAVE NEVER DONE THAT. !!!. Once again: Watch The Analogues on RUclips.
