I can honestly say, I have seldom been more excited by a mod than I am about this one. And I've been experimenting with mods in my version of Minecraft for a while now.
Oh, and the ring transporters would be cool. (Oh, and the last chevron to lock is the top one, and the first chevron to encode is the top right one) Also maybe add the 2 more chevrons at the bottom so you can go to stargates far away from the spawn. I built one at coordinates 100,000 and it was out of stargate range.
If you mean the way it looks in the nether, I don't know why it does that, but it looks kind of cool, so I'll probably leave it that way. I have lots of ideas for the future, including enhancements for the visual effects, but I can't promise anything.

I got chills watching this. Simply amazing. Do you plan on limiting transport to be one way?
No, all stargate connections are two-way. Although at some point I may add an iris upgrade so you can stop your enemies from waltzing in.

You should add SG teams, Goa'uld System Lords, and Jaffa. It would also be cool to have a pre-generated SGC per map.
Love the mod! Is it a bug that the portal effect becomes translucent? And will we be seeing a new portal effect and gate details in a future update?
