Great job ! Thank you for putting this book , CD tracks and videos together. I love your "Attack" no holding back but also such great power and restraint.

OMG! That's incredible drumming Jim! Most folks that go to the Rascal Flatts concerts have no idea how awesome you are. Some of those fills are just unreal! What is that snare you are using? Now that snare sounds incredible

Hey Jim, that's a very interesting take on the song. Well done!
I spotted the marimba in the background, do you get to spend much time on it? I've been a "classically trained" percussionist for 13 years, but never got time on the set. Any advice/tips for someone like me who wants to start the drum set? Bonus points if you say "Buy my book" :)

This was an original song as are all of the tunes in the book...the marimba stuff in this case was programmed but I do play some...really just enough right now to prepare my students for college..I don't try to over emphasize it as it does not have a ton of direct applications in the musical workplace...lots of indirect benefits (teaching "drummers" about melody, harmony etc..) your classical training will act as a great base of knowledge to begin your training as a drum set player...and yes I think you would enjoy and benefit from this book quite a bit... :-)
