I am loving my Magic 6 Pro so far. I actually prefer the 2.5x zoom over my previous phone's 5x optical zoom. In a lot of instances, the jump to 5x zoom from 1x is just too much so it ends up just cropping the main sensor till it gets to 5x. Honor's approach is much better because they can use a larger aperture at a 2.5x level of zoom versus a camera with a 5x level of zoom. That means even at night, I can't believe the amazing images the zoom lens can still output all the way up to 30x. On the Samsung and iPhone's 5x lenses which I compared it to, the Honor does a way way way better job. The zoom is excellent. And in most cases 2.5x is actually the perfect focal length in many scenarios and I find that I now use the zoom lens on my Honor more than I used the 5x lens on my previous phone. Also, battery life is amazing. I currently get around 2 days with moderate use. The 3d facial recognition is actually also so much better than using fingerprint since it is so quick and works for banking and other apps that use biometric authentication even Google Pay which means paying is instantaneous versus having to use fingerprint. I hope they always retain the 3d facial recognition. Also, most people don't speak about the speaker...the speakers are absolutely brilliant. So clear yet with some bass. The screen is also such a highlight. Even in direct sunlight it looks stunning. So far, 2 people who I have shown the phone to as well as the pictures I have taken went on to buy an Honor. Lol. The phone sells itself when I show them what it can do.
I prefer the variable zoom lens on Sony Xperia 1 VI which can adjust between 3.5x to 7.1x optical zoom. Also, the main camera can switch between 1x and 2x optical zoom without switching lens although I don't understand how that works
Is the Honor Magic 6 Pro able to connect and play audio to 2 bluetooth devices at the same time? My Realme can only play audio to 1 bluetooth device and so far I only know that Samsung's able to do it

Best display brightness 5000 units. Almost half the price here in Singapore compared to flagship Samsung ultra & iphone 15pro max!!! Honor has 12 gb ram , iphone pro max only 8gb! Grab and run before it is gone. The best smartphone fr its value today!

Serious question. Honor seemed to resist longer than the other Chinese manufacturers, in adopting the Apple style split notification shade. Can you still keep the classic notification shade style in the latest OS variant?
@@JosephWang-qm7md Yo Joseph. It was great! Smooth user interface. Great screen, which i just set at 60Hz most of the time and at 20% brightness, which is already very bright. I've never push the brightness more than 50%. Battery very good. Im a heavy user, making calls, actively on whatsapp and social medias most of the time, and play Monster Hunter Now pretty frequently as the monster refreshes every hour basis. I set it on Very High graphics settings, and the phone never gets hot, it's just warm a bit only. Very good performance! Sound is clear too. Besides, i used the stock phone casing and original screen protector, which i plan to change maybe after 2 months. Cuz apparently the original Honor screen protector for this specific Honor Magic6 Pro cost RM150 (Malaysia). On camera wise, they are great for me, as I dont often use camera, only when i capture showroom images or videos. Otherwise the low light shots are pretty good too! Magic 6 pro is my first flagship and im realy happy with it, coming from huawei nova 5t/honor 20 its awesome, i was kinda scared of its bigger size but even in my smaller hands it doesnt feel big camera bump is good for finger resting
Used to have Huawei p60 pro after watching lots of review especially from fellow Malaysian that in a way shows not a deal breaker not to have google in official way. Bought and after several days of use, it was a disaster decision. Although manage to side load all those google stuff through 3rd part store, get android auto function and etc but it still incompetent as a phone if user used to rely on Google services so much. The experience is a far cry than ideal despite RUclipsr demonstrate as if is not. The UI in typical Chinese phone fashion also inconsistent, per personal experience Oppo seems have the best consistent. The only plus point about p60 pro was the camera, superbbb and the only thing really jive, consistent and sync with whatever RUclipsr shows. The worst part, it's pretty hard to get rid the phone (lack of interest) and the trade in values is disaster. So, between these two, Honor Magic 6 pro is miles better option to go than overly glamorous P70 ultra despite RUclipsr usually tend to paint it as neutral and okay.
Not really like both design, but when come to quality I think Huawei is better I tried at the store the display look nicer on Huawei, but pricing is very hard to justify... just my 2 cent...
The way the chinese have been creating phones have been extreme. Shame on the west. I bought an Oppo Find N3 fold a week ago and i have ditched my ipad fully. Such beauty!
The pill shaped notch serves a purpose, like how most new gen iPhones have, it does not only have a selfie camera, but it also has a face id scan feature, like the new gen iPhones

Actually, I wanted to buy a Honor Magic 6 pro. But currently I am using Honor 90 and not much satisfied with its performance especially in the camera department. The camera quality is excellent but it's very laggy. Sometimes it takes few seconds to open the camera app and after clicking the shutter button, it will take around 3 to 4 seconds sometimes to capture the image. It's very frustrating and annoying. Same problem when I open the image gallery also. It's lagging too much. If I restart the phone, the performance will become better for the next 1 or 2 days and again it will start to lag again. I think, the OS they are using is not much optimized and that's the reason for this. Did anyone faced this issue? Please let me know your thoughts on this 🙏

Nah, in terms of software yes but pura focuses more on cameras rather than software, the mate 70 Pro will be the one that you can compare to any smartphone in terms of software and performance and mind due it will come out wil HarmonyOS Next that will be launched this year Mid-june

The only thing that make me turn off from buying pura70 ultra is lack of 5G connectivity. Hence I have purchased Magic6 Pro.

Honor only care about honor magic 6 pro in terms of software. My honor 90 still hasn't received magic os 8
