Doing King-Ohger being adapted into power rangers hexagon with all other seasons being in corporates is a great move hell make exclusive rangers if need be for all newer season that they feel need them and make hexagon end all be all season with a real reboot and let tokujay be head of designs
It’s sad that today is a quiet day of celebrating for some fans! But I’m not giving up PR will return. I’m open to a clean slate 100%. A 3 decade continuity with plot holes here and there with unresolved loose ends can be a handful. I don’t care what you do in terms of casting. Give Hasbro time to get it right
So there's this Rangers YA novel coming out next year. "Force of Chaos", which is noted as "Book One" in a series. I don't know why, but I'm really bullish on the idea. I feel like if that ends up being well done, it could be a really good lane for the franchise. Could easily see it be a great test avenue to get some new MMPR stories going, aimed at an audience that doesn't usually read comics or watch the kids show, and then adapt those books into an older skewing Amazon series or something. Kind of like what Disney did with Percy Jackson. Power Rangers + Young Adult novels could be a REALLY good fit, and bring in a lot of new people.
People bitch about how Power Rangers is being treated, but while Hasbro could have obviously done better, saying PR is the worst franchise treatment at Hasbro is willful ignorance. G.I. Joe's Classified Series has been a huge success, but the only media product the franchise has seen was the Snake Eyes Origin movie. They haven't had a TV series since Renegades over a decade ago. Both Dungeons and Dragons and Wizard's of the Coast are in flames right now, with several significant decisions pissing off both casuals and diehards. And the main bright spot, Baldur's Gate 3, was confirmed to be a one-off because the devs won't work with Hasbro again. My Little Pony hasn't had the same success after Friendship is Magic ended. M.A.S.K., Jem and the Holograms, Action Man, Duel Masters/Kaijudo, and others are basically dead brands at this point.
Anyone other than Saban or Disney, but some fans can probably in the meantime watch fanfic adaptations from ZenithFilms Media, and after Cosmic Fury got mixed reviews, I wonder how this will turn out with them doing a fanfic Kyuranger adaptation. They appeared at PMC revealing some cast members for the upcoming project.
Nah DOSM, 10 years from now..kids will be creating their own entertainment content and movies using *AI* 😅 The Russos are right that the genres days are limited
kinda skeptical, one of the main draws in entertainment is the community aspect of it (irl or online), if everyone's locked away creating their own entertainment for themselves, I imagine the novelty will wear off quickly. Not to say AI wont have a place in production (it already does) tho~
Look at the heman IP it has been around for over 40 years, it has had a couple of recent shows and comics. But for the most part it has been pretty dead compared to PR legacy. Yes it is a bummer no new show soon but we will be ok. Thanks for the video.
Doctor who was on television for 26 years before it’s 16 year hiatus from 1989-2005 and there was a failed attempt to bring it back in 1996 with a tv movie style pilot for an American season and I don’t want the rangers following in there footsteps cause 16 years is to long to wait for more content but it is a fairly quiet power rangers day cause i haven’t seen uploads from the bigger ranger channels today
@@dynamicreviewlution9887 the 16 year hiatus cause it’s already following in there footsteps as far as how long it was was on before the hiatus actually begin on 4 years longer then doctor who was when it went on hiatus in 1989 Alma like the rangers in 1989 doctor who still had it’s low budget feel and the bbc wouldn’t update the effects and also by the time of the hiatus doctor who was hated by the hier ups at the BBC like the rangers are now at hasbro
Hey Dosm are you familiar with the game Gigabash? It's a kaiju party fighting game based on the kaiju, tokusatsu, and super robot genres. Even having Godzilla and Ultraman characters as DLC characters. And just recently they announced two new characters inspired by Super Sentai/Power Rangers. R.O.J.A.K. who is our Sentai/PR rep and Balzaar who is basically if Goldar was on all 4s. It's pretty cool. If you're curious why they didn't have it be Power Rangers but instead OCs it's because of weird licensing issues between different parts of the world. Requiring different licenses so that the DLC is available world wide. Aka Sentai and PR are different licenses that are exclusive to certain regions of the world. So if they did PR DLC they can't sell it in east asian markets unless they also get Sentai's rights. And if you're wondering why the Megazord OC is called ROJAK, it's the name after a southeast asian dish that's made up of various different foods. Which is what they used as inspiration for the Sentai/PR team.
I think the IP is in a similar position right now to a lot of 80s franchises that might get a revival here and there but never really catch on again (like thundercats or he-man). Heck, we see a lot more mainstream acceptance and lack of stigma with of late 90s/early 2000s anime dubs like yugioh and digimon compared to Power Rangers, thats an awful sign for a franchise.
hasbro won't sell power rangers and they won't adapt super sentai ever again, they want to cut all ties with toei at the end of this year and they want nothing from super sentai in power rangers ever again and all designs will be made 100% original
There’s so much potential with the brand if they stop gearing it to ONLY kids. Like yes, the basic idea was teenagers becoming superheroes but it can be so much more if more audiences and more mediums were exposed to it instead of just the show.
They jus need to finally step into the animated stuff . Whether it’s a shattered grid movie or a power rangers x TMNT movie . They need to branch out asap
Mmpr is definitely taking a break, remember TMNT was a huge brand for over a decade and then died out for a few years now its back stronger than ever same thing with MOTU;MMPR will be back hive or take a few years.
Again, while we are probably going to be in for a bit of a dry spell for the for the forseeable future, I agree acting like the franchise is completely dead in the water is a huge overreaction. Because again, these sort of franchise dry periods are nothing new for litterally any other franchise. But when PR does it and suddenly people act like the apocalypse is apon us. Like I said; the universe isn't going to implode if we go more than 1 year without a new Power Rangers show. But alas; some people have a hard time understanding that, and when you try to tell them to temper their expectations, you're immediately branded a Hasbro apologist. Seriously, the PR fandom needs to learn that paitence is a virtue.(Believe me, they can learn a thing or two about paitence from Metroid fans.)
Yeah but another thing Power raners fans don’t understand is that Power rangers has never tried to survive on their own, it’s a new thing for Power rangers
To be fair, the franchise isn’t entirely dead dead. We still got more comics coming with Prime and Across the Morphin Grid and even the new Rita’s Rewind game that’s getting buzz around and new Playmates toys coming next year. But yeah, the franchise is still on hiatus.
I wonder whats next american version super sentai would be i hope make a lupinranger vs patranger to american version would be phantom thief rangers vs police ranger force that be cool name
Sadly, Hasbro’s given up on sentai, leaving this in the air for the franchise. Nah, it's better off as a comic, not a YA novel
@@MatthewLoh-ru1mw You're missing the bigger picture. It's not either/or, its AND. They can snag different audiences with different mediums.

The franchise itself is the first victim of superhero fatigue, and the opening theme of Samurai is the first red flag.
