I copped a pair from a local skateshop! Resold instantly and let’s just say....got my second stimulus check because of them
I also copped a pair but holding on to them cuz everyone has been telling me that the resell will keep rising on them

Was able to hit a size 9 green pair on PREMIER nationwide raffle. Received W email Friday at 7:32 am. I was totally shocked 😱. I do plan to keep them. Born in 1982 sneaker head since 1994. So I’ve worn and appreciate SB dunks. Something about dope low top shoes for Florida weather boys. Especially in Miami. Great channel BTW.

If all people stop paying stupid money for kicks then the price would come down... sellers would have no choice. But it looks like society gone crazy. Think about it fools this shoe retails at a 100 the quality of the shoe is worth 100 why on earth are you going to pay over 10 times that.

The resale prices are outrageous and it sucks being in Canada because they're already hard to find them in regular boutiques not to mention the bots.
Not to mention store exclusive is a bullshit concept, as shown by the orange Grateful Dead dunks which were only available at FTC in the Bay Area.
I'm not even mad since I only wanted these to resell anyway, so considering they were lower stock than Chunky's hopefully someone who really liked em got it

I really love Sb’s. Although I’m not a skater I’m a person who loves shoes. I do feel the hype makes things interesting and even adds a special feeling to getting the shoe. But taking an L and then having to see it resale for 2 grand makes it worse. I’m able to look past $200-$300 because I know people are trying to make some money. But it really kills the culture for those who actually like to collect and wear them. Like the strange loves. They were reselling for about $400-$500 and then skyrocketed to at least a grand. That’s another I probably won’t ever get now.

You know like an item that stands out in a very individual way. I personally think the colorways and overall design and concept are pretty dope and bold. Something that definitely adds to the culture of SNEAKERS. And i totally agree that everyone has they're own style and preference which is a very healthy and good thing. But i think with these sneakers in particular it's all gonna boil to how you rock 'em. You feel me, because they got a lot of potential and even though at first glance they may not as be appealing as other sneakers we all know that more often than not if you just cordinate that piece with just right outfit......shoot, game over. You can make anything look fresh and dope and cause people to be like damn yo, where'd you cop those? Lol

If you like Dunks then you can sell and get some actual grails for the same price. Stussy Cherry's, Skunk's etc. are going for the same price. Even recent SBs like the Parra's are better than the CDs and GDs.

I appreciate the grateful dead collaboration but wouldn't wear it. AND as much as I would like to wear an SB or in fact any dunk low right now, prices just aren't right

From local Miami Nike rep sources sb dunk wave will go well into 2021. So expect a slow down towards end of 2021.
I'm not too concerned about SB Dunks. Regular ass Dunks are selling out and reselling for outrageous prices.

What I hate about the Nike sbs are that they are most likely gonna end up in some hypebeast's closet and never see the light of day, only occasionally for the IG pic or showing off to friends. 99% of these will never be skated in, because most of the people picking these up aren't even skaters. And unlike Jordan retroes, they actually aren't something you can throw on and rock casually without getting weird judgemental stares by the general populous.
