Liberos are amazingly cool. When I played volleyball I was usually just a setter or outside hitter - but that libero position I always envied - I just never had the balls to tumble and roll and possibly suffer a concussion, they don't just have amazing speed, but amazing persistence and agility.
Same here. I've been trying to become a libero for three years and ended up becoming a setter instead (sigh). Liberos simply _amaze_ me with the effort they put in to keep the play going.

Jiminimized when I played volleyball, I really wanted to play the libero position. They get cool uniforms, when you save the ball it feels amazing, you don't have to serve, and it's just cool. But to my horror, the school didn't use the libero position.
Jiminimized Well I am a libero and also an Army😉 I have played in all the positions though....

I honestly laughed for most of them. But it was worth it. I bet the referees were very confused on if they should call it against them or not. I guess the rule is “until the ball touches the floor”. It was really funny but those where mouth-opening saves there.
It is just when the ball touches the floor, who's point it is depends on where it lands and who touched it last if it goes out

Nobody ever notices how hard it is to play middle, it takes a lot of energy even though you're only on the court for half the time

I play volleyball and I once slammed into the bleachers and hit my face......😂😂😂😂
One time during a game i did like a lung thing and slid across the floor, bumping the ball to my teammate and slamming my face into the ground. One of the brackets on my braces broke off but hey, I guess it was worth it because it was our winning point! :)
I had an epic save with one of my teammate's shanks and I ended up rolling into the wall. When I looked back, my teammates couldn't use my save ;-;

yo ikr i saw them going to the other side to get the ball and i was so confused
The ball is in play until it hits the floor. If it hits on the court then the point goes to the team on the other side from where it landed, so if one team makes a successful spike and the ball lands on the opposing teams half of the court, then the point goes to the team that made the spike. If the ball goes out, then the point goes to the team that didn't touch the ball last. that's why they crossed the court, because they're team touched it last so if it landed out then they would have lost that point

I never knew if you hit the ball toward the opponent side and you see it going out you could run after it and hit it back to your guys

But unlike your opponent who has to hit the ball between antenas to you, you have to give it back to your guys so it goes on the outside of antena.
While watching this makes me wanna play volleyball 💞
