Flash is an extremely good defensive or offensive movement spell and its on a long cooldown, making it easier to take advantage of it not being up. That being said it's not a free out or a free kill. It just makes it easier

I don’t completely get it, the whole game seems about who has to burn flash and who doesnt have flash. But theres so many times you see flashing NOT work (to get a kill, or to not get killed). So why is flash so important…..?
Flash is an extremely good defensive or offensive movement spell and its on a long cooldown, making it easier to take advantage of it not being up.
That being said it's not a free out or a free kill. It just makes it easier
