@@dinistrox2601 Riot made the Swiss Format to give the Western teams better odds of making it to KO despite the fact they aren't good enough, and this just proved it. LCS 1 seed lost to the weakest Eastern team at the tourney. The gap is only getting bigger. If you really want to be invested at Worlds maybe tell your regions to start changing the way they perform internationally.

As a fan of what many teams have done this year and in this tournament , this is absolutely nothing like the DRX run , nor the caliber of the team. WBG is far above what DRX was last year in regards to the performances they've had all year combined with the team talent.

honestly great series from the shy. He absorbed soooo much pressure won lane and even in teamfights he costs soo many abilities. Like the baron fight were xiahou hits 4 ppl with his ult. If the shy doesnt get alistar to commit to him he can just knock xiahou back and they cant turn the fight.

As an NA fan it was nice to see my region make it farther than knockouts, we did great this year, and I think overall we are getting more competitive as a region
I really think we need to stop saying NA does good just by making it knockouts and not even putting a game out. Like, i guess yes comparatively to usual performance. But 1 semifinals in 10 years is abysmally pathetic as a region.

This kind of reminds me about the way that the T1 vs Mad series went at MSI. Did very well in the first game, worse in the second game, and destroyed in the last game.

Too bad about NRG, it was kinda exciting to see LCS reach that far. Game 1 went close than I expected but they just got worse each game. Hopefully we'll get some 3-2's with the next teams fighting, the more games the better

Unironically this looked way more like WBG than the other games. Theshy off by himself getting 5 people to use their flashes and ultis on him and by the time he dies his team is there and cleans up. I swear because Theshy is so damn aggressive WBG legit made a strat around it. It's literally let the entire enemy team use everything on him then win the fight regardless of 5v4 because the enemy has nothing at all left. It's funny to see this playstyle return on the worlds stage xD
