The food is insanely expensive .I live in Belgium I pay 300 € max for a very healthy food with, veg, cereals, milk , fish, eggs, salads . But yes i don't eat in the restaurants I cook at home. For a place like Bali, this price seems to be exorbitantly expensive.
Wahaha what you spent on a week only for food and activities I spent, in total, for an entire month including a nice, big room at a guest house and motorbike rent. But that was 10 years ago. Bali is just ridiculous these days.
