Be careful. You set the torque to 129 N-m, not 129 lb-ft. The “lb-ft” scale is on the other side of the torque wrench. Other than that, great video.

Great basic video on tools needed! I'm currently outfitting a kit to swap out to a full size spare for getting my tire repaired.

thanks... but if you are on a road trip, your car might be loaded to a gross weight of #4500 and on a bad surface.... so I would make sure to have a 3 TON jack. I am going with a 12vdc hydraulic VEVOR jack. Also, since jacking will raise the ENTIRE SIDE of the vehicle, this could be dangerous. Be sure to have WHEEL CHOCKS for the other two wheels and perhaps a JACKSTAND under the jack pad that is NOT being used to jack the side of the car. Also.... work LIGHTS and a cheap jumpsuit will come in handy. Remember.... you might be totally on your own ( out of cell service? ) when you need to use these tools.

I love this video but Im afraid to buy this Jack because of the shape on the top. It doesn’t looks really stable touching the rubber pad, can you take it out and use the plain surface of the jack only?

Hi miguelquintero7496, Good question, i don't believe you can take it off the jack.
I also have this jack that fits around the puck when jacking up, amzn.to/3S4KdjG , will make a video on it soon.
      Thanks for watching!!

You should have a 3 TON jack for a model Y, and I noticed that I just bought a 2 TON jack that came with my MODERN SPARE. Details.....
