Glad to see that Underoath is still killing it live. It’s like they never left.
This has to be the best live concert videos I've ever seen. It's not professionally shot, at least not in a production sense. The cameras weren't set up in the center back of the venue with the whole band in frame and the lead singer in another frame. The cameras are hand held on the side of the stage and out in the crowd. It really gives a sense of what it's like to be at one of these shows.

Didn't say it was bad did I? Its certainly not great, but i respect it and actually quite like the last half of it especially. And above all, just stoked for new music from an all time favorite band, regardless of how much softer and "radio" it is.

I think the new album overall is kinda shit as well, doesn't mean I don't think the rest of their discography is absolute gold. They're nothing without their old jams. Period.
I'm pretty sure they were more complaining that the old mentality they all had about fitting an image when Underoath was releasing these albums was what broke them up. I don't think they have any issued with the music itself
Honestly though. Erase Me sounds like it was written by completely different humans. I was astounded listening to it. Some of the most corny choruses ever written, obnoxious pointless electronics, boring pop-friendly power chords, cliche uninspired song structures, Aaron singing with an odd accent.... I'm usually one to not judge too harshly, and say "Well if the band is having fun that's all that matters"... But good Lord almighty, that album is a mess.
That's strange because I think the album is way more mature, sure it's softer but it's still very good. The choruses are very powerful in a lot of their songs especially In Motion which also has an outstanding outro. I think the album fits nicely alongside their greats.
