You know what? When Seth brought out his RC car and put it on the ground you could see he struggled with the weight a little, even putting it down ever so gentle. Then when it was on the ground you could see the wheels are taking a hit. Like the truck was much heavier than before. Sneaky sneaky. But thoroughly enjoyed these videos.
Exactly... rear was squatting and tires were 'flatter' big time.

Seth's tires look like they are aired down more giving him better traction. I think his rear springs are softer too allowing for a better transfer of weight.

Grams count....Seth's stock truck is probably heavier. Run the same type batteries. Discharge rates make a difference.

Its your suspension set up.. notice how the weight transfers to the back tires of seths rig and plants them.. your shock tune is off... and also his rig does appear in the videos to be heavier.. and in tug those 2 things can be king
I have a crawler set up. LCG. Mine is lowered as well.
Man I thought Seth's tire were just broke in right turns out he just put the brass in it. You should get weighted items for your rig. Lead in the spare tire or something

Tug of war isn’t crawling and I’m set up for crawling
One of you needs to treat their tires with WD40 and check if it improves grip. I tried it on the small SCX24 and it really gives you a lot more grip.

A lot more. The shell is about a pound more than mine(I cut mine off), he also has that spare tire mounted up. So at the back he probably has me by at lease an extra 2 pounds.

Maybe you guys should weigh the rigs and and balance them. Then try the tug-of-way with the "stock tires vs cut".

Weight weight weight like I said last video. Tires only matter in general crawling. Flat out tug of war on flat surface comes down to weight, the heavier truck will win 98% of the time with compitent driver.
How would you feel if my truck was heavier the entire time taking out the brass nut scene?
@@SteadySpin then I would look at esc and motors, are you and Seth both running factory stock electronics without any modification. Same rated lipos in cell, milli, and burst rating?
In a tug of war it always comes down to grip/leverage and constant smooth power.
If everything electronics is equal and your sx6 is heavier other then the nut scene then it does come down to timing and throttle control.
Regardless really liking this series and I am rooting for you to take one from Seth.
Keep it going this is getting fun and interesting.

weight .a tug that hauls a jumbo jet around is extremely heavy , heavy gives traction , that green truckc tyres are squished with weight , thats how youre getting beat .yup i was right i called it before i seen him with the nut .....
Good times. Tug of war is one style build and crawling is the other direction. My rig has come a very long way from these days.
