I’m just someone who loves 3d printing and not so much into painting which is sad but after a few years of fdm and resin printing I have never been disappointed with Iain’s brilliant models and am really excited for this next batch. Thanks for the updates and sneak peeks at the models.
I was the same, David. There are still lots of pieces unpainted from when I started printing. Some things got half done. Then I found Iain. I would say I have printed 60% of the terrain I have of his (it’s actually hard to stay ahead of his production schedule) but maybe 90% of that is painted. Of course, now doing RUclips has put a convenient rocket under my butt to get things done! If you have an air brush you can paint the majority of the terrain in an afternoon. Grey, brown, done. Then hand brush the roof and dry brush everything. I haven’t had time to do all the extra details here.
