@@TheRadioGarage Have one with a swing kit can't get long winded gets hot quick....you won't get walked on though. Have a 98 also real good talker on am. I run half power and it's good. With a predator 10k I can def talk 25 miles or better depending on terrain and if anyone has something that can talk back.
Used to have one of these that had 4 Toshibas put in it. Was definitely a bad boy! Now I’ve got the 99N4 and man oh man I’m in love. Like this radio and a rci made a perfect baby!
Can you build another one just like it? I have a 98vhp and would like to have it tuned up and cranked up the way you have this one.. I'm new to the channel. Thank you
Godzilla's Galaxy. Nice job, Matt. I am going out on a limb here, suggesting the use of Ferrite Chokes. I use them on the bench and in my vehicles. Details can be Googled or videos found on U-Tube. Any reduction of noise is a plus. They can also extend the longevity of your equipment. A mix 43 is what you want for CB. Ham Radios will have different mixes, depending on frequencies used. Just my thoughts. 73. Smilin', I'm off the key. 😑🦗
They drift on AM too sometimes. My Galaxy 66 on Channel 19 goes back and forth from 27.185 to 27.186 often but you can’t tell if the transmit or receive end.
I’d love to have a sort of upgraded version of my beloved audio monster 93t with a pair of Motorola 454s in it. Sadly my 93t stoped keying about a month ago so it’s on the shelf until I find someone to look at it that ain’t gonna screw it up 😂

I think your going to be waiting a while unfortunately
I think galaxy discontinued this radio.

I’d love to get that mosfet board out of my 98 and put a 4 pill in it.
I heard the shiba pills are like $200 each now not sure how true that is.I guess the HG pills would work just as good!

Where can I get a clean radio like this
What radio would you recommend for a dually hot shot rig?
Depends what your looking to do with it. Email me if you would like to discuss. Thanks
Hey buddy do you still run this channel..? I have a few questions i need to ask you
Wouldn't mind getting that done to my 98
Wow! I just acquired this same radio in good shape. Is it worth saving?
Yes, it is!
Is there a way of keeping them from drifting usually galaxies are drifting machine on sideband.
