I think when people, in hindsight, talk about how perfect their wedding day was, that only means that they went with the flow. No day is perfect. I met my husband in 2008 when I was 15 and he was 17, and we got married when I was 24 and he was 26. And now we’ve been together for 14,5 years. We had a very fun and young barn wedding with a barbecue, popcorn, candy and lots of themed cocktails, but we have decided to renew our vows in a couple years and have a more ”adult” wedding, maybe have a wedding cake this time because last time we just had three different kind of pies! 😂 I love love LOVE weddings, so I don’t mind this content at all 😍 I wish you and Alex all the best, and have a wonderful wedding day! ❤️

I met my now husband when I was 14 and he was 12, I was definitely not attracted to him then (he was a very annoying teenager) 😂. We started dating at 17/19 and married at 21/23 and have now been married for 4 years. We’ve gone though so much together and won’t have it any other way 🥰

I grew up in a vegetarian/vegan family and remain so myself. My nails have been like paper my entire life and never improved until I started taking a protein (vegetable sourced) supplement. Protein matters, and as my elders have learned (diet based auto immune issues, bone and dental issues) everything, including diet, is about balance. The skin is our largest organ, it tells us what we need.
It absolutely torrential down poured at my brother's outdoor wedding (he got married in September too, here in Canada) and they have the most adorable pictures of them walking in the rain together under an umbrella, and all the guests with umbrellas looked so cool, especially the black and white photos. Apparently rain at a wedding is good luck too. :)

We were together 18 years before we got married and we had 2 weddings….a legal one and then a ‘wedding’ at a vineyard with all our friend and family and we had things happen just before our wedding but it doesn’t matter…its all ok and you’re getting married to the person you love ..that’s all that matters :) Happy wedding day x

I had a very small wedding and loved it, we didn't plan things months in advance or anything and it was okay if something wasn't perfect. That whole. mindset of "nothing can go wrong" would stress me out so much, I wouldn't even be able to enjoy the day. But everyone is different and people have different personalities.
Also, as far as I know from Germany, the bit where you're signing the papers is the ACTUAL wedding, the thing you have after with lots of people is just a wedding celebration, so I definitely agree with Alex.

My husband and I also got married 6 years to the DAY that we met. October 26, it was at a halloween party. It was also a total coincidence, just the only October date the venue we wanted had available. It made everything that much more special.

Trust me… your day will be perfect no matter what 🥰 on my wedding day it rained all day and it was bloody amazing, I wanted sunshine but I’m actually super happy it rained. Our photos were all still outside in the rain and it was just such an amazing day. You will love it! It’s normal to have all these anxious thoughts but enjoy it on the day because it goes soooooo quick 🥰 (I just realised after writing this it’s Sunday and now you’re actually married 😂 congratulations!!) ❤️

Everyone remembers our wedding because of that! We brought bubbles for the children to play with, but with that and people walking in wet from the rain, the dance floor became an ice ring, Everyone was slipping and sliding while trying to dance, it was so funny 🤣. Also I like to remind my husband that god cried the day I married him, good way to annoy him when we have an argument!! Anyway we are still together and about to celebrate our 24th anniversary this month. Met my girlfriend when I was 21 and she was 18. We've been together 18 yrs now and have 2 daughters. Just remember on your wedding day, to take time for just you and Alex, away from everyone else. Even if its just 5 or 10 mins, just the 2 of you, because the day will go so fast.
