  • VLC is an amazing piece of software. Apart from an all-round media player that plays every kind of video and audio format imaginable, you can use it to stream to you network, capture clips from your webcam, and even use it to build a motion detection system.
In this video we have used video and audio clips licensed under permissive CC licenses or in the public domain. See the end credits for more details.
You can also read our article on VLC at
    www.ocsmag.com/2015/04/06/vlc-...
to find out more about this outstanding program.
PLEASE NOTE: Everything in this video is distributed under free licenses or is in the public domain, EXCEPT the "Radetzky March" by Johann Strauss Sr. that plays throughout the video.
Insane copyright regulations make it virtually impossible to find a decent recording of some music that was composed over a century ago... so we had to buy a license.
The license allows us to use the music on a RUclips video, but in no way re-license it to third parties. That means if you are tempted to list the music from our video and re-use it... Don't! You will be flagged for copyright infringement. Not by us, mind, but by the greedy music labels that are definitely not interested in spreading culture.

As a certified instructor I produce videos and I only have one problem with your video is that it is too fast. I have to stop it a lot to see what you did. Very annoying. Good luck.
