  • A long forgotten hot rodding trick is to perform a camshaft “regrind.” In this video I go behind the scenes at Crower Cams & Equipment for a step-by-step walkthrough in the budget friendly trick of yesterday.
Big thanks to the folks at Crower for taking me behind the scenes of the coolest shop in town. ‪@crowercamsandequipmentco.i7594‬

Cool video. Bruce Crower would pour aluminum in coffee cans to machine into pistons according to my dad. Later, my father-in-law worked with Dave Crower on original Crowerglide clutch.

When I was in the Navy stationed in San Diego in the '80's me and one of my car guy friends from the ship would just drive down to Crower and pick up the cams directly. This was when they were in Chula Vista. Really nice service and quality. He had a '69 Chevelle SS 396 which ended up getting stolen off base. The base cops told him it was probably in Mexico, they 'lost' a lot of cars from the base.

I love it!!!!!!!! The guy speaks rough English, but like in most programs those great guys are the one’s that have the magic ( knowledge that makes it happen when you see him at the burger joint you have no idea he is possessed by those demons and lords; plus he knows when to use each of the mentioned) BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!!!😅

    Very nice camshaft.
Alot of bang for the buck.
Nice that they stopped and did that.
    Crower is a great company.
Just got a solid roller from them for a 557 Ford Mud drags truck.
    Beautiful camshaft.
The cam you got looked like brand new.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Take care, EM.

274/274 @50?! damn...I got a 220/230 @50 regrind for the 360 Magnum in my 71 Dart I also picked up a set of Pac springs so, I'd imagine you'll have to address those as well.

He's talking about the lobe lift being .275. I've heard that the stock Chrysler Magnum cores are pretty good so that should go on there very easily especially keeping the stock lobe separation.

Very cool to see! I'm about to send them my Honda F22a6 cam for a turbo regrind. Excited to see what they churn out!

Does anyone know wire miss fire goes away at higher RPM even though you have a bad camshaft
