Beautiful ... simply beautiful. Less is definitely more ... I think that zigzag meringue on top is what makes this cake a showstopper. Bravo Savvy ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Delicious 😋 everything you make is just yummy, do you have any desserts with strawberries since is the season for them or can I substitute the lemon curd for strawberries and if so how I need to add them, thanks in advance 🥰
Astrid Haviland thank you! I don’t have too much with strawberries but I will make sure I include them in the future! Thank you for the suggestions. :-)
Why are you so amazing? Lol if you get a chance can you show us what and how to make inverted sugar? I have a recipe that calls for it but don’t know where to start
I want to make this but I have a question. Is there a reason you didn't loosely crumble the cookie mixture under and all around the cheesecake? Would it be ok if I put the cheesecake on top? Thanks
Owlcitylove2001 Booboo500 awwww thank you so much beautiful!!! I really appreciate your loyalty and encouragement! It makes my day when I regularly see comments from loyal subscribers such as yourself. Thank you! :-)
What brand of whipping cream do you use? I noticed when you poured it in it was *thick*. Far thicker than the brands I use, one that is the name brand Knudson. Here in the US, at least in Southern California, that's a well known brand. It's not cheap either. Now I know why your whipping cream decor holds it shape...
@@CupcakeSavvysKitchen thanks for the reply. Now that's 2 items at Aldi's that you've clued me in on. I've never shopped there but you're giving me a reason to now. Odd about the thicknesses. Did you notice if the fat content has changed? Either way I would rather use that brand then continue to get frustrated by the brands I use that don't seem to hold up like yours. Thanks again!! 👍
Dang you had me until you used the kitchen torch (Which I do not own) at the end. Darn it and this looked really good too lol! That's it, I must save up for one of those bad boys! Oh the fun dishes I could make! XD
@@CupcakeSavvysKitchen I tried to do that on a previous bake but it didn't do anything. ☹ I want a real torch so badly. I finally bought a pastry blender. When I used the two forks method it wasn't great. I'm not sure if that's why my crust came out the way it did but I figured I deserved to finally buy the blender, lol. Next will be a torch so help me, LOL...
You are going to LOVE using it when you get one! They can be purchased online for close to $20, you will also have to purchase a gas can, probably separately. This is an example of what you will get for around $20 amzn.to/3cXwJ2M
It looks lovely this dessert!! I have a question in regards to the meringue. Once it is toasted with the torch, does it last firm? Or it has to be served immediately? Thank you!!! @@CupcakeSavvysKitchen

Delicious as always, can I use gelatine sheets please if yes how many. thanks
Yes you can. There is a great conversion explanation here www.lyndeymilan.com/how-to-convert-gelatine/
Que ricoo!! 😍😘
Is it ok to omit the gelatin ? I'm making this as a cheesecake with a gingersnap cookie crust in a tart pan with a removable bottom
Yes but you will need to use more Cream Cheese and whip to very stiff peaks to help it keep it's shape.
I want to make this but I have a question. Is there a reason you didn't loosely crumble the cookie mixture under and all around the cheesecake? Would it be ok if I put the cheesecake on top? Thanks
Sure you can! You can place the crumble how ever you like. I initially had it under as well but the log was sitting lopsided so I changed it.
Does the gelatin change the flavour or texture? Where do you get all your creative ideas?
No, it’s neutral in taste. Ideas come from everywhere :-)
Can you make Lina colada cheese cake or mousse please ?
Not sure what “Lina colada” is???
Will it melt in a hot water?
I love it your videos never disappoint me I love all of them!!!...😱😎💯😊😆🥰😄❤️☺️😘😍😃😀🍋🍰

Agar agar

I use the @Aldi brand. I have noticed over the last couple of weeks it is a lot thicker. It never use to be so thick.

You can still do it without a kitchen torch. Just use one of those auto candle/gas lighters if you have one.
@Cupcake Savvy's Kitchen Cool, I will give it a try thanks! XD

Don’t add cream of tartar to meringue? Sigh at all you do. ❤️😊. I goofed with piping. Lol. Hopefully back to it soon if not today
You can add cream of tartar if you like but I find heating the mix makes it not only safe to eat but very stable as well.
