I love what you said about light fixtures. I recently moved into a home built in the mid-1930s. We are blessed that many of the original light fixtures still remain. The previous owner seem to want to “modernize“ a lot of this house, but I have decided to take these classic unique features and play them up and make them a focal point.🙂

But I was always in awe, as a retired designer by the way, with how insanely chic and skilled your designs always were! LOVE them and I would love to see a book with all your before and after pics - or maybe another design show?????
I'm to understand that if a trend has a name, it's out. What is in is to layer time periods, textures and to unite it all with color. I've done both commercial and residential interior design along with owning my own florist business. After some 45 years of the good, the bad and the really, really ugly, I called it quits. Now, I get to paint and sell antiques, along with my paintings at a local store. It keeps me relatively happy as I get to give away everything that I have learned over these many years. Knowledge is everything.
Friend of the five star podcast gurl pleeaze. I worked in Studio City Home Design and Artisan Brass (chandeliers & lamps with onyx, crystals and such.) Stay classy! I've had it with French Restaurant motifs-in the strip mall. So inefficient and filthy.... Like toddlers❤
I adore design as well. I detest parties. Life has taught me to avoid people. I DO have a husband, he’s at a party now. My introvert self has been looking at rugs online, I started with Kyle Bunting this morning. The substance of rugs is disturbing to me. Oh well.
@@maryannbrown5762 Well, the both of them have blinders on . Our country is going down and they refuse to look at whos doing it. Think back to 4 yrs ago. Things were soooo much better. I felt protected. Now I feel so unsafe in this country. It's crazy to me that some people refuse to see it.
Jennifer and Pumps had a show on Bravo about ten years ago. They are so warm and funny, the podcast allows us to enjoy these two ladies again ❤
