We have a tradition in our family that we LOVE: we make rolled turkey tacos from the leftover turkey (leaving small amount for turkey sandwiches for Friday md Saturday) and the rest makes the most deliciuous turkey tacos! Served with a homemade salsa, beans and rice, it is a feast that we all have loved!!!!
Black bean and leftover turkey quesadillas are our go-to. I freeze chopped turkey in 2 cup portions and we get several meals out of one big turkey. Quesadillas are a favorite with my teenage boys.
It has turned to winter very quickly here in South Dakota and your videos are such a wonderful reminder that this really can be a beautiful time of the year ❤
Oh yes, reading outside our bedroom will be interrupted! I usually only get to it right before bedtime and when the kids are on their 45 minute break! I have gotten out of the routine of not working whilst having my tea 🫖- thank you for the reminder! And the soup looks so good 😋
Jennifer, I thought you might be interested in the new Netflix movie about Maria Callas being played by Angelina Jolie! It looks like it's going to be really good and there is already Oscar buzz. The blush trick makes you look fresh! Great video!
Murder, She Wrote has been a favorite show of mine since it was originally on TV in the 80s. To this day I so enjoy Cabot Cove's interior design styles and Jessica Fletcher's put-together outfits. There is a whole channel devoted to it on Samsung TV which is super fun. My teenage boys love any mystery show, too. I read a few of the books a summer or two ago and should pick up a couple more from the library. 😊 Thanks for the reminder.
I ordered that book from my library. And I discovered that Amazon Prime has Murder She Wrote. One evening this week I watched the first episode of season 1 (2 part episode) while I crocheted on the baby blanket I am making for a dear friend. It was such a pleasant evening. Thank you for being a positive influence.
I like your mini lighted Christmas tree you have on the floor! I haven't put out any Christmas decor in like 20 years? My whole family has passed, and I live away from my hometown? It just feels futile🤔
I completely understand where you're coming from, but I think a mini, tabletop tree is a great, simple way to still decorate a little, for yourself to enjoy! ❤🎄🕯
I just got my copy of Fatal Feast of Murder, She Wrote. I am at the point where Jessica is leery of Billups presents in town. Thank you for not sharing the next event in the book. I never thought of placing a small amount of blush on the bridge of my nose. I'll give it a try. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Hi Jennifer! This was such a warm, delightful video! The soup looks delicious and I can't wait to try it next week, thank you!! Could you please send a slice of that pie to me, hahah??!! YUMM!! I hope you are looking forward to a lovely weekend!! With love, Kellie
Love your makeup. Tell me, Jennifer, is that just a simple sponge that you're using to spread the blush on your cheeks? And also, could you please tell me what sort of blush you use. I like that you don't have to use a blush brush to spread it.
Also, I just finished A Fatal Feast a couple days ago and I loved it! I was hoping there would be another book after it with a continued timeline but there doesn't seem to be one.
Along with the blush trick on the bridge of my nose, I also like to put blush at the top of my cheekbones. My inspiration comes from Queen Elizabeth. I watched an English Heritage video where they explained Queen Elizabeth's makeup routine and they said in order to project good health she liked to wear blush on the cheekbones so that it looked like a natural flush. So I try to make my face look naturally flushed ☺️. I avoid the toxic makeup she used though as to protect my health 😆😳.
Lovely video! That pie looks so good I want to fly to Ca just to get one!! I tried the get the Murder She Wrote book from the library but all the copies were checked out.
I am enjoying the Fatal Feast from your recommendation! I am at about the same place in the book, i am so glad to have a Thanksgiving themed cozy mystery, Murder She Wrote has always been one of my favorite shows! Thank you for sharing!
@dolcezzeEmagia Hi, if you click on the word 'more', you can start scrolling down. You then have to click on the word 'more' a second time and scroll a bit further. I hope this helps.
On camera there was not a noticeable "well rested" look with the blush technique. A rosy color of blush on top of the nose can give the appearance of being outside in cold weather or the appearance of having a cold. A little shimmer on the tip of the nose and cupid's bow works well to brighten up the face.
The makeup technique shown by make-up artists, is one that they use on celebrities, and that is to place the blush on both sides of the nose and use a slight highlighter along the top of the nose, making the nose look chiseled. This creates a stunning look. But if Jennifer prefers the blush technique and she can see the difference, plus makes her feel good, that is great!!!
Talking about Murder She Wrote; I recently watched Agatha Christie 'The Midnight Murders' on PBS. actually only watched part of it, what a disappointment of a weird badly acted foul mouthed wannabe Agatha Christie, its not written by her, Agatha must be turning in her grave The critics slammed it as well.

And the soup looks so good 😋
I have fond memories of homeschool field trips at Riley’s Farm. I have never tried their cherry butter. That sounds so yummy!
It's such a beautiful place!
That’s called the Sunkissed look and Haley Bieber created it a year or two ago. It’s a new way of doing make up! Sunkissed! ♥️♥️♥️
Super cozy vídeo Jennifer. I love it ❤
Thank you!

It looks like a great film!

A mini tree sounds very nice 😊
Mini trees are nice if you don't want to put holiday decor everywhere. Candles are also nice.
I completely understand where you're coming from, but I think a mini, tabletop tree is a great, simple way to still decorate a little, for yourself to enjoy! ❤🎄🕯
Thank you! It's from King of Christmas. You can still decorate for yourself. Even something simple would be wonderful!

Happy birthday, Kellie! We missed you on the call!
Lovely video! Thanksgiving blessings everyone!

If I'm outside of my bedroom - 100% I'm gonna be interrupted at least 3 times, haha. Totally can relate!
Unless I'm totally sequestered in the bedroom, I will be constantly interrupted and cannot read at all
The soup looks delicious! I will definitely make this with Thanksgiving leftovers! Thanks for sharing! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

It's in the description box of the video! ❤️

My library didn’t have it either but I selected another - the first one in the series on audio - Manhattans and Murder 😊
Bronzer goes at the base of the cheekbone and blush goes at the top of the cheekbone. 😉 You got it 🎉
You’re souls looks so delicious and feels cozy. And Jennifer, I just love you hair cut! It’s layered and so flattering!
