Man, you post the most real shit. Always keeping it honest and just trying to help everyone get to the next level. I appreciate all the effort you put into this channel. Hope someday soon to chat with you about my small dealership!
I’m a couple days late by looking at this video but I must say Lucky great knowledge and tips you are giving out. I really enjoy looking at your videos which is helping me a lot. Thanks
Public auctions are just like that! Every time i go to one, i see overbidding. Ive found good deals too, you just have to be patient and pay attention. Its very easy to get distracted at the auction.
It’s too hard to do a video like that because every cars different there’s different scenarios it’s just something you build with experience through the years
Lucky, great video, one small caveat. My state doesn't have a wholesaler license. I guess that's why I see people driving with dealer licenses from 7 states away lol!
Hey another great video Lucky! Wholesale license, buying mass cars in after September and selling on auction in public auction is EXCELLENT way to make money and allows you to only maintain a wholesale license! On the topic of cheap cars, I love selling 99-04 corolla. All internal engine parts are dirt cheap, transmissions are 300$. Set of valves is 35$. headgasket 10$. rings 40$. When starting out corollas are an easy way to make 1k per car and people always buy them no matter the mileage.
Appreciate the great content and information. Please do a video on insurance policy for a retail and wholesale dealer if possible because personally that was one of the challenging parts of my journey.
Got a free 2007 odyssey Touring the other day. Put $500 in it and now I’m driving it around town. It drives like a new freakin car, caught a bit of luck with this one.
I suggest you create a (pay to register) community of individual buyers and sellers. I live in Minnesota and would gladly pay a monthly subscription to connect with buyers of non-rust vehicles to bring from down South to sell here. Or, perhaps it already exists??????
I was going to do it but every time I met a contact in Minnesota The buy cars for me and then eventually they start coming down to Vegas or California to buy the wrong so there was no point for me to go the extra way because they always try to cut me out at the end and then once they stop buying cars they try to come back and say I can’t find anything can I start by car from you again lol
Cheap cars hard to find now days almost every dealers bidding on cars above the ammr unless damage cars and bad transmission goes cheap price but nobody wants to waste their time fixing the damage cars
I get most of my deals from mechanically damaged cars because the Steelers don’t want to fix them but I would definitely start building a net work so this way you can at least get an option to buy the cars before they hit the market
what do we bring the donut shop to give us great deals? lol j/k. i used to flip cars a few times a year and made decent money on them. maybe i should do i again. thanks again for the great content.
It’s funny you said that I actually did work out a deal with a local small mom and pop donut shop I told him that I’m gonna be buying X amount of donuts every week so they should give me a discount didn’t believe me that I ordered 32 boxes of donuts and they started give me discounts after that
With a rebuilt title can put it on turo? And which line in the auction do small car dealers car run in? So I can stay away from that lane. And lastly which lane do the older used cars run in.
You cannot put a rebuilt title on Turo You may be able to put it up for a few weeks for one citywide audit it pops up and I’ll kick you off the platform. How when it comes to which lane the auction Runza depends on the dealer are used to run my car through the big leagues even has a small independent
Once again solid information. I like the “Speed of money” concept. So Lucky I might be in the market for a bettered minute used car. I’m thinking of shipping like 2,3,4 week of December. Any good idea for a grown man size vehicle that will last?
@@LuckyLopez777 Bawahahha your right there sir. I was thinking more of a Suburban, or Land Cruiser or Lexis LX. I’ll have to wait for the Alamo after I become a RUclips star like my hero Lucky!
Awesome video! I'm into rental but doing a similar strategy. Looking forward to my consultation with you whether I win it for free or come out of pocket. Ttys
Don’t be discouraged if you lose money on a bunch of cars it’s gonna happen until you get better at either wholesaling or buying or until you get a really good vendor we can get cars at a discount on the regular
I personally like Volvos but a lot of times when we’re working on them everything’s a specialty tool and it’s hard to get parts for here in Vegas and unfortunately even we get some ones that are really clean that are very nice people don’t look for them so they take much longer to sell than a regular car
Hello Lucky. I just starting flipping cars and was doing great until I was scammed hard. Would love to win your free consultation and get some advise from you. Best wishes 👍🏼
What OBD scan tool would you recommend for a beginner flipper? I’ve been eyeing the autel MP808 bidirectional scanner. I buy /sell about 2-3 vehicle a month. I’d like to eventually do one or more vehicles a week. I typically buy 10-15 year old American or Japanese rigs. Not really ready to dip my toes into the euro stuff yet! on average it usually takes me about 2-5 days to sell each car after its posted. I’ve got the funds to take on more rigs but have been hesitant on stuff with Dash lights on. I’m Not a mechanic but can follow instructions and do basic/mild mechanical repairs. I’ve got a decent chunk on money set aside from flipping over the last year. I’m $$ conscious and want the best bang for my buck. not trying to buy a mansion when I might only need a bedroom! Also don’t want to buy some Hunk of crap and end up wasting my time or money.
Awesome, I pulled the trigger last night on the Autel MP808K scanner. Look forward to watching more of your videos and figuring the in/outs of this tool! Keep up the hard work!
I been selling cars for 1500-3500 i want start getting more into later model cars to attract different customers im a cash only dealer what gameplan should i have for this
Not everyone can afford to just drive around especially when fuel is becoming more expensive. Plus states like TX. You can be shot. So not very good advice to walk onto someones property and knock.
