Indeed, great video with useful tips Mike, thanks for this. I am glad if you can help me in this, in my outlook 365 I am unable to group the mails by name after sorting the inbox mails using sender names. This feature is available in desktop outlook, but wondering whether it is available in outlook 365 .

Enjoy your videos, Mike. ToDo integration with Outlook on the web looked great until I found that the dropdown beside Tasks wouldn't let me select tasks flagged as "Important" - even though my custom lists were available as options. Seems like a huge oversight - am I missing something?

Yes à lot of things to explain. Today i have to work with both due to some features not available in both.
Microsoft are actually planning on merging the two, as well as the default Windows mail app. They’re all gonna be pretty similar because of it.

Hi there, is there any way to get the Outlook Web to work with excel / VBA? As this was very useful on the regular Outlook App to create emails from excel, etc. Also, how to make intranet hyperlinks work on the web outlook as they don’t seem to work? Thanks!

Everything but the one tip I'm looking for. How do you (in the Outlook web interface) re-order folders in your inbox?? Every time I try to drag a folder to a new place in the list, it nests it inside of another folder, which I don't want. Please help!

Is there any way to colour code and conditional format in this Outlook version? I just can't see a ribbon or options now?

One thing that I found out about delayed sending of emails is that it shows the actual date and time you sent it, unfortunately...because of this, I chose not to use this functionality.
This is no longer the case, at least not for me. I can confirm if I assign an 8 AM mail time the next day, it is time stamped that way.

@@overtechnc3462 You're not dreaming about this either because I too recall about 18 months ago that it would time stamp the date and time of writing the email rather than when it was scheduled to be sent. It defeated the whole purpose of schedule sending!

Do you know how to embed a pdf into the body of an email on outlook web app?
is it a way that i can autodelete emails after xx days in a specific folder on my outlook?
I dont want to delete in every folder just one or two folders.

Great tutorial! Issue I'm having is that everything in Office 365 Business has the option of choosing Classic View or Simplified View. I don't have that choice in my Outlook. Can you help please? I would rather have Classic View. Thank you!
Hmmm, this is rolled out 100% now. Are you checking in the web?
@@MikeTholfsen Yes. I've checked everywhere and can't find a soludtion. All my other apps have the arrow that lets you change from simplified view to classic or back. I'm used to having all the options on top. And now Outlook is in simplified view. Can't figure out. Most of the tutorials are in Classic View. Thanks for the reply.

Hello Mike. I was in the Web application of Outlook. Thats why the format looked weird. Microsoft support helped me in getting the Outlook App which was the desktop version. Unless you know which is which you could download the Web Version by mistake like I did. Thanks
Do any of these updates work on Outlook for desktop or exchange server?
Outlook web is Exchange cloud, or do you mean an on-premises Exchange server? Some of the tips I am showing work on Outlook Desktop, some not
Hi. Is there any way I get the notification of emails which goes to sub folder. As I make new sub folder and email goes there but I haven’t get any notification. Can you plz tell how we can get notification notifications ?

Use action based folders only and favourite them. Then you'll see it.
The only thing that ruins the Outlook experience for me is the mobile app. It would be brilliant if you could have an HTML email signature, I would be all in on Outlook then.
The constant instability doesn't ruin the mobile experience for you? Outlook is probably the worst mobile mail client I've ever used. The screen tells me I have a new email in Outlook. When I tap on it to open it, I'm taken to the inbox and not to the email, and that new email is nowhere to be seen. But if I go and check in my client, it's there. Then suddenly it appears in my inbox on my cellphone. The mobile client is full of bugs like that. I much more prefer the Gmail client and HCL Verse mobile clients.
@@hogne I've never had that problem. Currently running a Pixel 4XL and it works fine, maybe it's a phone thing 🤷♂️
I purchased the 365 for our church. If everyone there has 365, how do I protect my confidential files?
Files where? On OneDrive? Somewhere else?
