Hi @ronhilton2255 👋, No worries at all! You don’t need to sit cross-legged to practice Tummo breathing effectively. You can sit on a chair with your feet flat on the ground, keeping your back straight and hands resting on your knees. Alternatively, you can sit on a cushion or bolster to elevate your hips if you’re comfortable sitting on the floor in another position. The key is to find a posture where you feel relaxed and supported so your breath can flow easily. Let us know how it goes! 🙏
For the last few years, I’ve been practicing breathwork from a chair. When I was young, I was able to sit cross legged or sit in lotus. Those days are over!!! 🤣🤣🤣But I keep the breathwork going!!!
I think I’ll do another one of your challenges, I’m not sure o should hold my breath that long with my current health issues. ❤ Bit I feel pulled to do something similar…
Tummo breathing is not just a practice, it's a way to bring balance to your energy, calm your mind, release any stagnant energy and traumas, and find mental clarity. Your fire element is responsible for brining your ambition up, your desires up. Enjoy the session and let us know how you feel before and after.
@giveaways4682 That’s great to hear! 🙌 Tummo breathing really does have some amazing benefits. Keep it going, and your body will thank you even more! 🔥
@twenuaba You're very welcome! 🙏 So glad you found it helpful. Wishing you a powerful and transformative journey with Tummo breathing! 🌟 Keep breathing deeply and let us know how it goes.
@enriquecasas4001 Awesome, brother! 🙌 Day 1 is where it all starts. Stick with it, and you’ll feel the shift soon enough. Keep breathing deep and enjoy the ride. Sending blessings for your practice!
@RomanSherzai You're most welcome! 🙏 I’m so glad you found it valuable. Wishing you peace and powerful breaths on your Tummo journey! 🌟 Keep us posted on how your practice develops.
Thank you so much! 🙏 I’m truly honored that you find the teachings valuable. I believe this practice can bring profound transformation, and I’m excited for you to dive in! Wishing you an amazing experience-let us know how it feels for you as you go along.
Dear @tempawestbrook7245, thank you for your thoughtful question. In Tummo breathing, the breath retention involves holding the breath in the full body.
@shrutikhungar That means a lot-thank you! 🙏 I’m excited for you to dive in and take your breathwork to the next level. Stick with it, and amazing things will unfold. Let me know how it goes for you!
Hi there, you can try one round, slower pace and listen to your body, see how you feel. We highly recommend you check with your doctor who prescribes your medication as he/she is more familiar with your health and test results. Sending many blessings from The School of Breath team.
Sir What is different between bhastrika and tummo breathing. You are inhaling same manner for both. Only difference I noticed that you are waving hands up and down for one and for another expanding arms in sideways. Can you please clear my doubt. Thank you
On the upciming Thanksgiving day, my sincere thanks for another fabulous lesson. I have been following your videos for last couple of months and they all have been wonderful. However it also wonders me which one to stay consistent with, e.g if I take up this one, I lose my 30 day challenge on another one as the time in finite in day. Any guidance on that?
Proper breathing can be extremely effective for both physical and mental health. On a physical level this will result in richer oxygenation of the blood which will result in many health benefits and perhaps even a longer life. But the true power of the breath comes into play when it is used to achieve a calmer and more centered being. You become better equipped to deal with life's difficulties and stressful situations. It can also be helpful in times of extreme grief and bereavement. The book “the full breath” of James Francis explains all this and also explains in simple terms the concept of spiritual development and enlightenment. One of the things that can ruin our health and our lives more than anything else is stress and mental distress. If you know someone who is suffering in life or is in great difficulty, this book could help them fight their way out and become happy and balanced again.
Hi there, thank you for being part of our loving community and thank you for your dedicated practice. Please make sure you stay hydrated and listen to your body, take the practice at your own pace and let it develop naturally, without forcing. Sending blessings from The School of Breath!
Yes, if you are advanced you can try but do it only after the breath in hold. We are working on a Kundalini awakening course where we will go into the advanced breath holds.
@evasunny7285 Good question! No, for Tummo breathing, you hold your breath after a deep inhale, not after exhaling. Breathe in deeply, hold the breath, and focus on building the inner heat. Keep practicing and enjoy the process! 🔥🙏
Hi there, so sorry to hear that, its important to listen to your body and take it at your own pace, especially if you are new to the practice. Give your body rest when it needs it, its very important. Hope you feel better soon. Keep us posted.
Hi there, yes, you can practice twice a day but make sure you listen to your body and note how you feel. If too energetic you can slow down to one time per day. Sending blessings for your practice.
