+1 for Sadowsky. Simple lang pero sarap ng tunog. Nice one Sir Charles super helpful nito.

Sakto, I think I like the MXR M81. Kailangan ko kasi something simple and transparent at the end of the chain. The small form factor is a big help saving space sa board. Thanks for this. I just subscribed, more gear reviews please.

Got the MXR (which I like pretty okay) to replace my BELOVED Sadowsky that was lost during a move and wife accidentally RETURNED with the FKN RENTAL CAR!!! Along with my Aguilar AG 500 amp, two other pedals all my cords and cables a tablet. Didn’t notice right away cuz stuff was all in disarray at new place…. By the time I realized just WTF had happened… long gone. Miss that SADOWSKY!!! Just really expensive.

You can "cut" on the Sadowsky by reducing the volume, and then boost the frequency you don't want cut. For example, to cut treble, reduce the volume and then boost the bass. They all sound good, but I prefer the simplicity of the MXR and Sadowsky.

Malinis tumunog yung Sadowsky, my tone for more than 10 yrs since 1990...since 40hz yung bass tone nya the proper setting should be more gain from the source para tumaas din ang mids...the ratio of bass & treble should be approx. +2 bass/+4-5 treble or to taste...40hz is a little boomy sa FOH so be careful with it...it’s the 1st pre-amp of Marcus Miller in his Jazz bass
