One of the best concerts I have been to. It happened to be my birthday, and I was lucky enough to be shooting the shit with the lead singer of the opening band (unbeknownst to me). It was a small venue, but mid-show, Johnny pauses and pulls me up to wish me a happy birthday and ask what song to play next. After the show, I was pulled backstage to chill and meet everyone, including his lovely girlfriend.
I'm 34 I grew up listening to these guys, and I've been neglecting to listen to it lately because I don't want to know if they still hold.up. Oh they do, they definitely do.

Tommy is such an underrated drummer and Johnny's vocals are a perfect overall tone for their style of music It's too bad they didn't take it seriously enough and really put in the work to make multiple great albums, but at least we have diesel ! It's hard for people to MAINTAIN success for long periods of time, or repeating success.

BlinkPS2 my belief is that when this band was around sooo many nu metal style bands were around like Mudvayne, or soulfly, or in my opinion drowning pools first album that being said a lot of these bands just didn't get the limelight cause there was so much of it same thing happened with Snot before lead singer died of course

I always remember those days when this used to be labelled as Disturbed on Limewire or Kazaa. I think I honestly thought this was Disturbed for several years until I discovered that it wasn't!
Man, I remember buying this album back in 2000. I was 17. Never been a nu-metal fan, since 11 year I was listening to fear factory, metallica, pantera, etc. But Spineshank was and is still sick. Just like deftones.

I first heard that song off a metal and hard rock compilation called Headbangers Ball (Volume 1). Great song, and then it lead me into wanting to see what some of their other hit songs were. This is my second favorite track of theirs.
Spineshank, Soil, and Sevendust were just some of the most underrated nu-metal bands around at the time. A lot of them never got the attention they deserved. I thought the songwriting on 'Self-destructive Pattern' in particular was pretty strong. Great band.
