Aside from the rest of the album being weak compared to this, they did themselves a major disservice by fighting the internet. The first verse in particular, but this song speaks to me and helps as a combat vet. I suppose that this song is a poem to myself. It helps me to live... Thank you Taproot!!!
Bruh I saw them live with Deftones and Linkin Park when White Pony had just released and Linkin Park only had one single on the radio. Deftones' equipment trailer got stuck in a snowstorm in Colorado or something and they had to rent instruments from a local music shop down the street from the venue. They pretty much said fk it, played some of the fan favorites and just played covers and jammed the rest of the night. It was really informal and casual, and it made for a really unforgettable show. Taproot had tons of energy and Linkin Park had a meet and greet with fans until Deftones started. Everyone who wanted to meet them got a handshake. It was an awesome show.
This song came out while I was still actively in mourning and suicidal depression after the death of my daughter. I think that younger me would be happy to know I broke the glass everytime I needed to and am finally able to move on and enjoy the time I have with her siblings who are still with me.
2022, still a good song. Don't come around much to this music but eventually we all have to come back to our (roots) ... you like that lol Edit: I should have said " we all have to tap back in our roots eventually" would have been a better fit lol

I have been looking everywhere for the name of this song and I couldn't think of the name of the band. Still here whooo!
Overbearing panic attack entrenching my veins
In an hour I'll be OK I pray that this pain will go away permanently someday
I've seen more than I should have to I've seen this on my own
This song is a poem to myself it helps me to live
In case of fire break the glass and move on into your own, your own
Reoccurring drowning effect entrenching my brain
I hope you'll be OK someday so I can say that you moved on in the right way
We've seen this and we've breathed this and we've lived this on our own
This song is a poem to myself it helps me to live
In case of fire break the glass and move on into your own
This song is a poem to myself it helps me to live
In case of fire break the glass and move on into your own, your own
This song is a poem to myself it helps me to live
In case of fire break the glass and move on into your own
This song is a poem to myself it helps me to live
In case of fire break the glass and move on into your own, your own, your own, your own!
Good job. Very close. I appreciate your time and effort
That first part was inspired by 2022 top 40 😂
this is so good but you must hear “The Wave” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘
If I didn’t already know I’d swear this is TFK I’m listening to right now.
The first verse in particular, but this song speaks to me and helps as a combat vet.
I suppose that this song is a poem to myself. It helps me to live...
Thank you Taproot!!!
This was on MVP Baseball's 2003 soundtrack and finally found it! What a banger!
Taproot, will always be MY go to numetal band when I want that real nostalgia
At times all the pain feels unbearable. For some reason this helps.
Imagine being a medieval peasant and never getting to enjoy this song. RIP.
Tough luck! 😂
This song has a...STICKY CHORUS...It helps me to live
Remember this song playing in most shooting missions in True Crime: Streets of LA
Jimmy Fu
Yes!
Lakers in mentill
Played this song on repeat the whole game
That what brought me here aswell
They proved themselves that they are real musician for having this this song stuck to someone's head even after 20 years later
90s & early 2000s music was agressive
I really miss this band. They always put out great music.
this is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave” by SLT 🐺🌊🤘
@@beezybeez4207 SLT?
Too bad they ripped this song off from Boston peace of mind
This is the first time I've heard this song in over a decade, and I can still sing along word for word.
this song holds up so well. can't believe it was released in 2002, I remember jamming to it back then and it still sounds fresh.
I remember seeing Taproot play at Ozzfest 2001. I also had the pleasure of meeting them and getting their autographs. Very down to Earth.
These guys and Story Of The Year were criminally underrated back in the day
SOTY is still my third favorite band!
Listening to it almost the end of 2022 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Yup.
Alice in chains frontman co-signed these guys haha, I loved this song when I was 12 but this isn't on par with Alice in Chains, right?
Me too
Hell yes... still will kick ass in 2023 🤟🔥🎵🤟🔥
*2:01** THIS PART IS PURE GOLD.*
2:28
And then THIS!!!!!
Years later this song still holds up.
Listening during quarantine days
Still kinda here in Bangor Maine
This band was so awesome and I think a little ahead of their time. Never got the recognition they deserve.
It's 2020 and this is still such a solid song!
Again & Again totally hooked me into Gift too.
Yes! This song helps me to live through all this bullshit lol
Love this
Timeless
It's great because this song is a poem to myself
It helps me to live
This song came out while I was still actively in mourning and suicidal depression after the death of my daughter.
I think that younger me would be happy to know I broke the glass everytime I needed to and am finally able to move on and enjoy the time I have with her siblings who are still with me.
51 next month, January and still rock out to this song! 🤟🔥
Taproot was so awesome.
this is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave” by SLT 🐺
This song is a poem to myself - 35 today and this one will never get old!
Beatles 1965: Pushing the limits of music way further than anyone after them
Internet: Taproot 2002, so old.
Still one of the best concerts I've seen in after 14 years!
Loved these guys when I was a senior in highschool. Still love them today. Miss those days and I wouldn't trade them for anything!!
this type of rock needs to come back
2022, still a good song. Don't come around much to this music but eventually we all have to come back to our (roots) ... you like that lol
Edit: I should have said " we all have to tap back in our roots eventually" would have been a better fit lol
very underrated band. damn they dont make music like this anymore.. that's what cuts deep about listening to these gems.. :(
Longtime taproot fan... some talented boys here..
It’s 2021, still pounding my fist & chest to this song.
A mis 48 aún sigo tripeando con rolas como esta, buena vibra para tod@s!!!!
This song goes so hard. In case of fire…BREAK the glass! I was gone for a while but back in 2024!
And I was just a 13 years old when I first listened to this song, so many good memories! I miss these days so much but the helped me to be who I am today and leave all the pain behind.
This song is still incredible all these years later. 🖤🤘
I have been looking everywhere for the name of this song and I couldn't think of the name of the band. I prayed that it come to me because I was remembering little pieces of the video and melody but not a lot of the lyrics. I was going crazy. It was reveal to me looking up something else. God is good! Been rocking out to this over and over for a minute now lol.
