I have watched Aquaman six times in the theatre. For me, to have seen it six times and still have those same scenes move me emotionally is a testament to the quality of the film. I am not ashamed to admit that when he emerged from the waterfall in his armor and the trident that I shed a tear. The moment he rises while full on commanding the sea standing on top of the Karathen I sat there with a smile, a single tear streamed down my cheek, and I was just so emotionally captivated in the moment that I reverted back to my being a little child all over again. Aquaman for many years was considered to be the weakest and the joke of the Justice League and DC. After this film he is no longer the joke that he was originally made out to be.

I 100% agree with you too! Even though I own all these scores on CD I can’t help but want to go on RUclips and listen all these amazing tracks and hear beautiful comments like this! This is what being a fan of these types of movies is all about and getting to hear others store it’s while sharing my own is such a joy! A striking blend of vintage Vangelis-esque retro synthesizers, Alan Silvestri's orchestral action heroics, and, in a semi-processed format, the over-rated Zimmer's pounding action styles. And the cue nicely blends Aquaman's theme and the theme for the Kingdom of Atlantis, musically showing that Arthur has taken on his rightful mantle as its king. Nice job, Mr. Gregson-Williams!

That scene is just all kinds of awesome. WAY over the top, but that is what makes it great.
I think the “over the top” was supposed to help us understand that the the seven seas had explosively awakened after thousands of years of lying dormant. All sea life recognized that the true king had finally risen. I feel this was to be the ultimate contradiction to Orm’s brash statement. “The war is coming to the surface, and I’m bringing the wrath of the seven seas with me!” Remember the oceans are vast and teeming with all kinds of life. The trident has the ability to summon these creatures from the farthest reaches of the underwater world in order to answer their king’s call. This scene was a direct representation of Aquaman’s newfound power bestowed in the trident directly from Poseidon himself. Not saying you were wrong in your statement but this was just an idea I wanted to “float” out there. God bless!

DC's sountrack's are so memorable unlike Marvel's (except IW)
@M.K.M. OP does have a legitimate point tho. Until avengers came out, marvel films simply didn't have memorable scores. That's not to say that they were bad, just not memorable. Whereas nowadays there's the score for the avengers franchise that literally everyone knows, partly because they've been rehashing it across the entire franchise, which personally I find lazy and an insult to movie franchises that actually try to have a unique score. Not only pointing fingers at marvel tho because DC did the same thing with Batman when he first came to the big screen. If you picked any score from any of the marvel films prior to the new age MCU films, I probably couldn't tell you what film it's from let alone what scene. With DC it's typically different.
