I was in Reims as a 14 year old on foreign exchange with my penpal. The cathedral was where the French monarchs were crowned. Jean D’arc statue out front (Joan of Arc)

Nice tour of REIMs. Cathedral filthy at HUMAN level...everyone TOUCHING columns, etc. The tour from Calais to Reims on the chart was very helpful to see where you're going/been.
The canal authorities..should allow people to rent the properties. Care for the properties could be arranged through housing associations or a charity if the the Canal bodies did not want to take responsibility. It also helps protect the canals and locks against vandelism and theft.
Hi Clive, couldn't agree more. We have been past so many ex lock keepers houses since then, most are now empty. Seems a shame to let them fall into disrepair.

Hi Steve, thanks for the watch. The map we used is called 'MAP OF THE INLAND WATERWAYS OF FRANCE' scale 1: 1 500 000 by Imray.
