My bike was a 1979 mongoose nickel plated r e d tuff wheel 2s 14 sprocket in the back long cranks I would fly on that I love that bike 🚳 three black guys come up to me and and stole it never got it back back in 83,

Cool! When I was around 12yo (early 90’s) my buddy found a Kuwahara (I believe) ditched in a field. Of course we took it home and studied it because we didn’t even know Japanese bmx bikes existed. It was one of the coolest bikes I had ever seen. It was white with green print and green mag wheels. It just looked fast. The other thing I remember was the crank… it was butter smooth and made the bike go like a rocket. To be fair, a retail store diamondback was probably the nicest bike I had ridden at that point, but it rode so nice it feels like something I dreamt and wasn’t real. Thanks for the vid, nice to know I’m not crazy.
