  • Taken from Day 2 of Kevin's 2019 Law Enforcement Trainer's seminar in Belgium, this clip introduces the Shoulder Vice Takedown. This simple concept allows you to take an opponent down by prioritizing trunk control while allowing you to protect the subject's head. This takedown is an essential bridge between harnesses and body locks. Ideal for self defense and law enforcement.

Awesome again. When not damaging a person is a priority when controlling them, and protecting myself and others, this is the sort of work that is essential. Thank you 👏

I really appreciate this principle base type of instruction, combined with the kind of technical details that allow you to actually pull it off.

Always enjoy your content, your method of teaching makes it easy to break down and drill the techniques with a partner. I primarily train BJJ but I do utilize and or tweak movements with your suggestions. I don’t do nearly the amount of mobility work I should. I purchased your original program on the site but will definitely need to take the time to look into some of the new content.

These are extremely important tools. I realize that MMA ground and pound etc is all very popular as a sport.
If you are a LEO in this litigation happy society if you do many of the techniques you may well find yourself in legal jeopardy if the SJW decide its politically advantageous to make an example of you.
Look at George Zimmerman. He was cleared by the PD, DA and they still
Decided the “ optics “ were adventurous to send a special prosecutor from out side the state to put him on trial regardless how you feel personally about the guy.
Takedowns, pain compliance techniques and locks are key techniques a LEO must have in their arsenal. If I was still involved in LE I would be sending people to your seminars.

Agreed. There are a lot of careless things being taught to LE. It makes me cringe. Thanks for watching
