2 things. I think the reason why knuckles has a mech is so that every chacyer has some kinda transport. Shadow motorcycle, tail's plain and so on. Second the reason why eggman in the green hill zone looks like he does is that it's a Lego Idea set, and lego idea sets are not allowed to use new brick or molds that haven't already been made. So they made egg man with what they had❤
I ended up picking up all bar the Speed Sphere Challenge, simply because it doesn't contain any new figs bar the Motobug variety. Definitely agree with your ranking, bar possibly swapping Death Egg Robot and the Ideas set as I feel the Death Egg Robot is a more fun build overall. It took me watching this to realise what Knuckles' Mech is missing and it's the lack of an Animal. I wasn't expecting a Badnick (Though would have been nice), but it's strange that it's lacking a animal.

These are the best Lego Sonic The Hedgehog Sets in my opinion. Lego Ideas Sonic The Hedgehog Green Hil Zone. Sonic vs Death Egg Robot. Tails' Workshop. (Especially because of the tornado) Shadow escape. (Shadow motorcycle is very cool) Knuckles Mech Guardian (I know the Mech is strange but it's not bad and it recreates how Knuckles and Rouge fight for the Master Emerald) The other sets that I didn't mention, such as Sonic Sphere Challenge, Amy Animal Rescue Island or Green Hiil Loop Challenge, are not bad sets, but I think the others do use more iconic things that we see in video games. We will see what new characters the 3 new summer sets bring this year. Hopefully they will give us a minifigure of Super Sonic and Metal Sonic.

I have the Egg Robot, The Ideas Set, Amy's Animal Rescue and Shadow's Escape. I am planning to get the Knuckles set too and probably the Knuckles and Shadow Brickheadz. The Ideas set and Amy's Animal Rescue I received for my birthday and for Christmas, The Egg Robot and Shadow's Escape I managed to buy on sale. GAME had several of the new sets on sale and the Shadow one was there so I bought it. I might get the Knuckles one while it's on offer but I might wait a bit as I'm mid-way with Amy's Animal Rescue and haven't started the Egg Robot. Tails' workshop is a maybe for the plane, but I don't like duplicate figures so it's something I'd only get in the right mood. Even the animal in it isn't' exclusive as it's the same on in Shadow's set.
The sets you got are great and I'd definitely recommend you pick up the knuckles set on sale since you get knuckles and rouge, but if you are holding on a bit longer I believe a new knuckles set has been leaked with a few more for August if you aren't a fan of the mech itself, but I think just for the minifigs its worth it👍
@@KeenBricks I'm not too fussed about the mech, yeah the figures in that set are the main draw (Rouge especially) but the mech I think looks ok, just nothing special. It might look better once I have it in person probably.
