Where did you get the texture for the version at 0:20? It looks amazing! Also is the only difference between this and the tutorial version the applied texture, or are there other effects going on? I'd love to learn how to do this!
Does not work. When I click "Ok" to apply the effect, nothing happens. I have the image selected, it's a transparent gradient, it does not work at all.
sorry, fairly new at photoshop. how do you then make it just the text to add to a graphic or poster? because it's not a smart object with the solid color, when i drag it over it takes the whole thing.
You can use a colour selection on the black and then create a new layer so it's an isolated graphic, if you don't know how to do that check out my dirty type tutorial where I cover it! :)
