  • (2021) HDRI map, Cinema 4D, Arnold, Insta360 One - In this tutorial I will show you how to create an HDRI map with the Insta 360 One X camera and process the files using Insta360 studio, Adobe Bridge, and Photoshop. I then show you how to add the custom HDRI to Cinema 4D using the Arnold and Physical render to help you create more photorealist 3D renders.

    wow this worked great. Can you shed some light on what the calibrate function does? And do I have to do that step all at once or can I do them one at a time? Newer version of Insta360 Studio seems to not let me batch select for the calibration part of the process.

    Lately my HDRIs made with this method come out way darker than they used to couple of years ago. I still use the Insta 360 RS 2. Has anyone an idea why this is?. They used to come out fine but within the last 6 month they kinda suck. Any solution? Thanx in advance

      Use the shadow catcher and you can isolated with blend modes or either AOV shadow pass.

    Does it not have AEB? You have to manually go through all stops?

    Nice video thank you! I think the One X2 does this automatically now.

      You mean the entire bracketing? I was thinking of buying the old version since the resolution does not change. So you think the new version is worth it if my priority is HDRI?

    • @ukmonk
      @ukmonk 2 года назад

      @@f4ust85 yeah I think now it does it with one press of a button, very easy!

      @@ukmonk The One X does stitch HDRs automatically now if you want that, but I can't figure out how to get them off my camera! It only wants to export JPEGs, which defeats (almost) the entire purpose of HDRI!

    There is no multi bracketing mode in the camera?

      No, it is very sad indeed.

    Can I ask one question.. How to choose between onex1 or onex2. Coz I just wanna take hdri photos I don’t have any requirement of video… So I don’t know whether I should spend more money for onex2

      Here is a blog post comparing the 2 cameras.
      blog.insta360.com/insta360-one-x2-vs-one-x-whats-the-difference/
      If you are only using for HDRI photos you will be using the app anyway so the LCD on camera doesn't matter since you will be bracketing the photos and do not want to touch the camera. So simple answer is I would buy the cheapest especially if you are only using these images only lighting in 3D. They both record in RAW so you have flexibility in post. I believe this tutorial I was on either R19 or R20 but I am currently on R25 and the workflow should be the same.
