I got on late. All my comments have already been posted. But I really enjoy the fact that you have an idea and make it happen. Your fabrication a d automotive skills are inspiring.
For some one not wanting to make a dashboard. You have outdone yourself with the craftsmanship my friend. That dash is amazing and so is your sense of humor.
As always a pleasure thank you ! I was thinking as I was watching ! It's crazy ! What happen if you would build a 4x4 low behold the ford unloaded ! The idear behind my thinking just may be get more to subscribers as others like Chad's fabs with your leavel of skill im looking forward to the 4x4 👍😊
Just came across this video in my suggestions. Great detail and pacing. Fantastic calls to watch your other stuff, and superb fabrication. You have a new subscriber!
I was just sitting down to have some lunch and your video popped up. Awesome job as usual and I have to say that your video was better than my lunch. Can’t even imagine what’s gonna happen to the bronco. Is the Bronco going to be your vehicle or for a customer. After watching you turn the bronco into the garage, looks like the steering box must be about a 25 turns lock to lock ha ha. I’m sure a rack and pinion is on the build sheet. Keep the videos coming , they always make my day.
awesome stuff, l liked the idea of not closing the door completely, that would have saved you a bunch of time. keep up the good work. one of the best channels on yootoobs currently
Kudos John! The VW FrankenSubieBug was amazing enough, but you've outdone yourself with this project. And holy smokes that dash is just the chef's kiss on top of an already fabulous display of mechanical and fabrication artistry.
John, was asking myself how the Corvair is coming along, you new project is a nice one as well, but my heart beats for the Corvair. Hope you're well and just too busy with your builds to worry about videos!
Thanks, I really want to get back on the Corvair but I have to finish the Bronco first. The Bronco project isn’t interesting enough to do videos on but I will do one more of it when it’s all done.
Hi from Northern Norway.. Just found your youtube channel.. and just have to say.. I am completely amazed by the work you do.. the quality and eye for detail is incredible. and the humor of course👍 So of course I subscribed right away😀
Stunning! Truly a work of art. Your attention to detail is the sign of a true craftsmen and puts us mere mortals to shame. About the only thing we have in common is the black edge beading you used, I’ve used that on the edges of my car door to protect them from scrapes.
Really excellent work, John, thank you very much for show this process to Us, I have learned a lot, I am in the restoring process of an old and beloved VW Bus, and much of your work will help me to improve mine here, greetings from Perú.
Your a genius man let me tell you that... great work i love it, i been a Sheet Metal worker for 48 years, what you do with metal is amazing, greting from Quebec, Canada 👍
honest to god you actually made a corvair look bad ass i never knew it would be possible sence factory they ran with a belt you are a legend man lol great work👍👍✌
Outstanding dash. I kinda like the aluminum finish but figure it could be a distraction in bright sunlight. Looks like there's room at each corner for outside A/C vents but then again under dash units would work too. I think you get more cooling from the outside vents... Enjoying this build and looking forward to the next. Carry On. 👍
Never cease to amaze me, you're doing a great job, as always can't wait for the next one! I am up to about fifteen subscriptions now (just kidding) started with the VW.
Great stuff. This is the second video in a row you’ve dropped the very day after I was thinking…”John is about due to share us a new video”. Uncanny. I enjoy sharing this with my Engineer brother in law. He can’t find his danged 10mm socket either…..lol. Cheers!
Uh oh... I spy the future and it is baby blue! BTW, John! Awesome dash! It's too beautiful to spend all its time in the Corvair... bring it inside! I'm sure the wife will grow to love it.
oooh! maybe you can add a soft spring into the glove box hinge shaft, before the stopper to cushion whenever you open it up, so it doesnt just flop down, but smoothly slides open?
I think you're an aircraft guy. I see Clecos, 6061-T6 tubing, rivet spacer, and an AN365 series washer. Also, the skills with aluminum show. Nice work!
Incredible work, seriously next level. I remember always burning my hand on my old Billet Aluminum shift knob so I hope you've got a shady place to park that thing. 😂
Finally, a DIY youtuber with some sense! Honestly can't tell you how aggravating it is watching some guy with several thousand dollars' worth of tools using a friggin' hacksaw as if they're trying to say 'look you can do this with basic tools.'
John you do dam good work , its a good thing you dont drink in the shop if that were the case I feel the old Corvair mite have a Jet engine in it ?????
You "tongue in cheek" explanations are priceless. Your videos are like watching a Beethoven Masterpiece developing. Thank you sharing your work.

Thanks, sometimes it just boils down to patience. Lots of it - ha.
For some one not wanting to make a dashboard. You have outdone yourself with the craftsmanship my friend. That dash is amazing and so is your sense of humor.
He completely failed at not making a dashboard lol
John, once again your craftsmanship is impeccable. That dash looks awesome.
Attention to detail and ability to execute are unsurpassed. Great videos!!

Love watching the Master in his madness!! Oh, and the narration too!
That dashboard would not look out of place in a Pagani... Or an Art gallery... Beautifully made!

A ton of needed ideas. I've got to watch this many more times to absorb it all. Thanks

I will wait for the cage to go in and see how much room is still left for vents.

Amazing work, design & engineering.
oooh! maybe you can add a soft spring into the glove box hinge shaft, before the stopper to cushion whenever you open it up, so it doesnt just flop down, but smoothly slides open?
I really enjoy your videos! Thanks, John!
Love the humor. Although I am an accomplished fabricator, I continue to be in awe of your skills!
I think you're an aircraft guy. I see Clecos, 6061-T6 tubing, rivet spacer, and an AN365 series washer. Also, the skills with aluminum show. Nice work!
Beautiful job John , looks Awesome buddy 😁😁🤘🤘
EXCELLENT EXCELLENT work!!!! Glad I stumbled upon this video
Incredible work, seriously next level. I remember always burning my hand on my old Billet Aluminum shift knob so I hope you've got a shady place to park that thing. 😂
I saw this last night and thought, “Look, another RUclipsr that thinks he’s a fabricator.” I was wrong. Very impressive work.
Love the music, and the dash. Can’t wait to drive it.
Thanks, I subscribed to your channel, when are you going to put out another Dart video?
Great work John!
Beautiful dash Mr. R. I hope you put enough downward slope in the phone pocket for your neck snapping acceleration.
It has some, we'll see if it's enough. I generally putt around anyway.
Wow! Beautiful dash!! I love it!
Work-O-Art dude! Accompanied by my own style of humor along the way. :)
that dash is awesome!
aaaannnddd... I'm now subscribed. This is so impressive and inspiring! and funny!
Nice work! I like where your going !!
You sure know your way around those metal shaping tools John.
Beautiful. Seriously stunning work. Can you do a forward control jeep instead of that bronco?
That would be interesting. However, the Bronco wasn't my idea, it belongs to a client.
Amazing craftsmanship, and great editing :) I think personally I'd have put the USB outlet in the back of the phone cubby, but it might intefere!
Your Amazing John what skill you have..
Looks like an old Corvette dashboard. Love it.
Watched it again just as injoyable thank you👍😊
Wow, gorgeous work! How about an aluminum cover for that USB thing, though?
Good idea

Beautiful! Ya I suggest power steering for the Bronco 😂
