I cry everyday over my children. I am a reverted muslim of 30+ years, I divorced the father of my children because he although muslim never practiced islam and fell to the temptations of this life. One year after school break he failed to return them to me...during all these years apart, Their father taught them many years ago to hate me based upon lies. I love them so much that I haven't made them choose between their father and me. I pray one day they know I love them so much that I leave them in Allah's hands. I forgive them for not calling me when I'm sick, not returning messages when I simply say I love you, I forgive them for forgetting their mother doesn't have a husband, only family that are not Muslim who hate me for raising my children Muslim, for teaching them how to pray, to fast, to speak Arabic when their father was not practicing Islam..I forgive them for judging me on factless lies...I forgive even their father.. Insha'Allah Allah has a plan for everything. I realize now that I need this time to improve my faith. I pray one day they just know how much I love them. Alhumdulilah. JazakAllahKheir

I'm going through a divorce as well and it's the most painful experience I have ever had to face. Was married for 10 years to a wonderful person but her heart always whispered to her from the very beginning of our marriage that "you not supposed to be here" she eventually left me leaving me shattered beyond repair. I love her deeply and can't seem to move past the fact that I will no longer be married to her. 😭

It took me years to accept that the plan Allah had for me, Inshallah is better than the one I was living. Stay strong, and btw there are great women out there that feel the very same way!

There are many such men and their support system who go no end to slander and shame. It's not possible to go to everyone trying to explain your side. Keep peace with thought that you were not the oppressor and you will get reward for your pain. No it is not easy. It is not possible to understand how can we be given such pain when we did our best. It is simply that they were not good people and did not deserve you. Start a fresh, pick yourself you. Grt your health in shape, be with people who love and support you. Try getting some way to help your finances. Bring yourself closer to Allah SWT. He sees every deceit every slander and every manipulative action. You keep your heart protected from bitterness and sadness. The days ahead are a blessing, a gift. Breathe fresh air away from toxic people and say Alhamdulillah.

Men often regret giving a talaq. This is why the second caliph in Islam, Umar ra carried out capital punishment on men who gave three talaqs at once. This is PROOF (of many) that three talaqs are three. Because otherwise there would be no base to give or receive capital punishment when there was no dispute that three are one. Obviously everyone agreed that three are three thats why it was implemented and the sahabah took heed.

I want to ask this It was budging me that marriage is favourite near Allah. Allah loves the bond of husband and wife.
So my friend said why do people divorce when Allah doesn't like it. Why people divorce can't they take their problems as an exam from Allah why do they part ways. Why can't they just stay in relationship even if its toxic because shaytaan loves to separate husband and wife so why they can't hang on.
My argument is that what if its an emotionally abusive relationship, what if husband or wife have became mental patient. Can they not part ways ? Because if I argue about this to a friend they say that why can't you take it as an exam after all whole life is an exam. If husband/wife abusing their other half then it should be taken as an exam because they are doing it because Allah made them do it.
Please someone guide me about this.

Allah told us to separate in a best manner because if they live in such a toxic relationship it will affect on their kids ..their kids will see those things whatever is happening with their parents.

If a divorce is going to happen from Allah then nothing you can do will stop it. Things will happen so fast and everything will be out of your control.

    Allah never instituted DIVORCE.
    DIVORCE was instituted by man.
So the only teachings on DIVORCE in Islam should be that it's displeasing to Allah.

Initiated divorce is displeasing to Allah but if divorce was written in fate nobody could change it

Allah SWT made divorce halal. Sometimes it can be a blessing from Him. Sometimes Allah SWT has better plans for people.
